I'm glad to hear you got something out of my work of 37 years. I do think you be at the top of your class with what I was able to offer you. Enjoy the work, it's very rewarding. If you want to take it to the subtle level and help sciatica, discs, etc. let me know as that too is available, but not for the public. I will suggest to master the massage before going forward with the advanced work. Thank you for commenting.

I like how gentle you are with your clients Athena! Recently I had a massage from my long time therapist it was a little painful in my shoulder and lower back area. After I left about an hour later I felt very nauseous and had diarrhea. I recovered quickly but felt weak. Could this have been a result of my massage? I’ve never experienced this before after a massage. What do you think?
@athenajezik8972 Жыл бұрын
I can't say for sure however it may of been. More aggressive work often will traumatize the body. In that the pain was in your back it may of overstimulated some nerves.

Yes I agree with you it's ASMR and Athena has such a nice quiet voice that doesn't need music. But great video 😇
@Lydirius Жыл бұрын
Agree. Even if the music was 1/2 the volume. 🤷
@danieln2421 Жыл бұрын
I must agree - the background music-track is piercingly counter-productive, in regards to audio-induced relaxation. Perhaps a set of dual-uploads - one with the background track, and one without? 🙃🙂🙂

I personally like the music, but it does sometimes drown out her voice a little too much. Turning it down slightly might help.

My massage therapist is great, but she had to take 3 months off, so I went to a new massage therapist, who used extreme pressure. I thought the new therapist was going break my neck. I woke up the next day and I was in a great deal of pain and I couldn't move my neck. It was so bad that I had to go to chiropractor.
@athenajezik8972 Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry to hear that. There's plenty of massage therapists out there who apply a lot of pressure totally unaware of what they are really doing. Sadly the schools don't teach massage the way I teach it. Few understand my work that knowing what one is doing and going into the tissues lightly actually gets better results. Hopefully that will change and I hope to see more massage therapists in my Fundamentals of Subtle Alignment course. That would raise their skill level a lot. Be sure to say something to them if they are applying too much pressure. They should never cause harm.
