We have the same fuel filter set up on the Case 1294 and Fiat 880 DT backhoe only difference being is the fiat has a glassbowl on the first filter while the last filter has a metal bowl while the case has both bowls out of metal, the set up can also help telling the condition of the fuel and if it has any water in it or any other dirt at the bottom that could ruin your fuel system 🙂

@lucasbergfors944611 ай бұрын
@@jtsbarnngrill6873 that's good, on my Case the lift pump has a glass bowl to check for that 2 days ago i took it for a drive to check the condition of the gravel road it ended up stopping like it ran out of fuel and when i checked the bowl it was all full of dirt and sludge so the glass bowls really do come in handy at times as long as they aren't destroyed from overtighening them 😂 I did manage to clean off what I can with my rag i had with me later on, bleed the system and get back home to drain the tanks and filter whatever came out with the fuel and then put fresh fuel in it, runs like a dream and haven't seen any dirt so far, have been thinking about finding any additives that could prevent this from happening again, do you treat your diesel fuel JT with additives for example ? If so which ones do you recommend ? I heard that the liqui moly diesel additive is the real effective in keeping the fuel clean and improving fuel economy so i'm planning to experiment with that later on and see if that will help with my problems i face, other than that it's very fuel efficient at 6 litres per hour while the fiat is at 8-10 litres per hour 🙂

They cannot be cleaned with air pressure, but if time was on my side, I washed them in luke warm water & washing up liquid (what her in doors has to be obeyed, uses to wash dishes !!) and left somewhere warm to dry out properly.
