So many different ways to use pomegranates. I know your family loves to taste test all your new recipes. Your videos bring peace and happiness to my heart and your dog makes me laugh all the time. Thank you for sharing yourself and your family with us. You give us much more than we could ever give you. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.

@@rbharvesters7404 How width is the cutter and how many years has the combine?
@rbharvesters74045 жыл бұрын
It is a 12 foot cut I’m 99 percent sure. I think it is 1942 or 1943. So it’s about 76 years old but that film was about 2 years ago now. I don’t own it it belongs to Arther Hinch so I’m not sure how to spell his name. He lives near Stamford. He is good friends with Ron Knight who I is a well known combine guru who has restored many combines over the years. This Massey 21 was filmed at the Great Casterton Harvest event that is held near Stamford every September. They only display the very old machines. This combine has a 6 cylinder Chrysler Petrol engine powering it. Apparently it was saved from being scrapped in 1969 and was kept in its wonderful original condition which is always the best way if possible. Thanks for commenting, I’m always happy to answer questions about my videos and the machines that I enjoy preserving.

Not quite sure what you mean but thats what some of the early combines had. It was a throw back to the binder technology. The have straps at each end to tighten them when the are fitted.

Any one got any info on a Massey Harris 22 header. Got one in the shed. It’s got the auger front much smaller driving wheels and a small flat head 4 cylinder. It’s set up as a bagger. It’s also all galvanised sheet metal not panted. Located in New Zealand I was told there was only 2 that come here
@rbharvesters74042 жыл бұрын
Sounds interesting, i have heard a little about them. A hand full were built at Manchester England in the 40s. They were called 722 here and im sure they were painted red over here. Extremely rare! I will ask about for you. People pay big cash for them now. I know of only 2 that still exist here.

Thats interesting, i didn't realise Casterton had been going that long. Apparently Arthur Hinch saved that from the scrap back in 1969. I love the fact that he never painted it.

Im hoping to go to a local ploughing match on the 5th of September at a little village called Sulgrave near Banbury. Its being held in memory of a bloke called Richard Bywater. Richard died of cancer in 2005. I always remember Richard, he was the manager at Brackley Burgess in the 90s. I did my weeks work experience their when i was at school. My lasting memory of he is that he chose to see good im me. I was often in trouble when i was young but Richard gave me a good report and i actually got a award for the best student on work experience that year.
