the t2 wind turbines are 10 times cost and production but they dont take nearly 10 times the space so you fit a whole lot more of them into your base considering that eco players often just spam wind until they run out of space and then go afus these should be meta because you run out space a lot slower.

I gotta say, the Epic Lich is probably my favorite extra unit. That missile it drops just feels so truly epic. Also I like how it's made of paper, so its not really that busted.

Interesting idea, looking at that one blue player with the wind turbines - line your base with t1 solar panels as a wall. Even t3 can't walk over them, right?

Does anybody know how to increase the max player count past 16 for this to be possible in a lobby? I tried setting up a 5 v 5 v 5 v 5 but I failed at that point. Don't know all the commands yet and couldn't find it in the list or online.

Not at all friend, this is called Beyond All Reason. It's a free spiritual successor to some of the classic old time RTS games but with a fresh coat of paint and a bunch of new parts :)
