I was struggling justifying the purchase of Bulletstorm VR for awhile. I played it back on XB360 and liked it a lot, but at $40.00 it was a bit of a tough sell to play it again. Looks like it's 50% off on Quest right now and with all the updates, I think I am going to jump in on it.

Got my Q3 back in Feb and have been loving the quality of life upgrade I'm having. From Beat Saber in the morning to wake me up, to stand alone games on break at work and experiences like No Man's Sky and modded Skyrim on my PCVR at home. I've been splitting time between Skyrim and Iron Rebellion this last week. Iron Rebellion just got a big update (they're saying it's the final before 1.0) and the player base is blowing up, with good reason. That and my weekly Dungeons of Eternity sessions with my buddy, which may now get split to include Iron Rebellion. 🤘🧙‍♂🤘

Did you get quest game optimizer? I strongly advocate for its use for all Q2 apps on a Q3 until we get the made for Q3 exclusives soon.

@starscream6629 I haven't, but I did look into it. It's just about 2 or 3 too many hoops to jump through at this point. I'm not a really big visuals guys anyways. Details get lost on me anyways. As long as the games play well (they do) I'm a happy boy. I'd rather spend that time and effort, dialing in my Skyrim settings.

I actually just bought Bulletstorm,Medieval Dynasty and Galaxy Kart the other day but haven’t had time to play any of them yet

Medieval Dynasty is really good. I was hesitant because of the graphics, but I tried the 30 minute free trial, and by the end I was like "PURCHASE PURCHASE PURCHASE". It really hooked me. Great mechanics, fun quests and npc interactions, and the graphics were surprisingly better than I thought. I've also heard they plan to release multiplayer soon. So watch out for that.

It was a janky mess at release I am interested in hearing if it has been patched there was fun, but so much jank it wasn't fun I would like to know if they have fixed it.

Hopefully Sony shows some good stuff at the State of Play tomorrow, but I'm keeping my expectations in check. Most likely just new trailers for Alien and Metro. Maybe a VR reveal of the new FNaF game or one new announcement. Aces of Thunder and Behemoth are possible as well, but I don't think they'll show more than 3 PSVR 2 games total. What they really need is a permanent price cut and a new bundle for the holidays (GT7 and at least one other game, maybe Red Matter 1 and 2?). And some more first-party VR games of course, but I've basically given up on that. I'd love to be pleasantly surprised.

Tatiana did an awesome video on the Visor. You should check it out. The “glasses” are not glasses. It’s a VR headset that’s front heavy. Wes said Eric and Todd got to demo it actually working and so did Joy but boy was that a terrible start to what seems to be as you said “a bait and switch” scheme!

Regarding Visor formfactor. The CEO posted pictures yesterday on their discord and the prototype units seen in the commercials are almost the exact same size as the final product. Someone brought that rumor up, so he just took some side-by-side pics both of the fronts and top down to show them. Also I have a few friends that went to the event and they did get to demo them. Firstly on the day (units weren't working then) they got to get hands on with hardware, then the next day they got to use them with displays on, just not the full software. They were in "theater mode"

For me any other headset other than Q3 (unless it’s a Q4) doesn’t have much interest since you can’t keep your quest or rift library and they don’t really seem any better overall. It’s good to have competition for customers, but I really can’t see Q3 being beat right now and they are just launching exclusive game apps. I think 2025 will be the year of strong sales for Q3 and an exciting year for gamers.

It was misleading in the ways I mentioned. 1. The cool glass look was just covering the product. Without the prop they don't have that glasses like look and look like a vr headset. . All the videos on it the past year or 2 showed it being worn like glasses when in fact they hurt the bridge of the nose when used for long period according to Tetiana a content creator. The company shouldn't be trusted.

This company visor is shamelessly misleading. The glass is purely for decor. Without the glass it looks like a vr headset. I mean that made us believe it was thinner than what it is. I know its not good for vr but i hope they fail. All vids show them wearing it like glasses but according to a experienced lady content creator they are to heavy on the bridge of the nose to be comfortable for long periods besides them slipping off her nose. They have the real comfort solution that comes with them.

I don't see the problem with the fact that you sponsore bulletstorm. why not? what I find weird is how far you are willing to blurr the line between a sponsored ad segment and your personal opinion and hopes and dreams for a game. I don't say that is not okay to do. It doesn't feel right to me as a viewer though.
