Hi Mai! My husband’s parents got divorced when he was 2 and they kept all their wedding pics and pics together for him and he cherishes them very much nowadays. Give it a thought before throwing yours away, maybe one day your boys may enjoy having them as a memory from when their parents were happy together and decided to born them 🥰

This! I came to comment this. My parents had a rough divorce when I was 4. They never talked about it to me til this day (I'm 34). They trashed any and all pictures and memories of when they were together. So not only do I not have any memories of them happy, I also have no pictures or memorabilia of that time. It's like a chunk of my own personal history is gone. My half sister who came 9 years later, has tons of pictures and memories of our mom and her dad (my step dad) together, even though they eventually got divorced too. You mentioned you don't keep the art work or notebooks for your kids. I would at least keep the personal memorabilia for them.

agree 👍 my mom and dad divorced when I was 2 years old so I really don't ever remember them together. my mom saved her dress and the wedding photos. she passed a few years ago, but I'm so glad she saved the dress and pics.

I just wanted to say you're doing great! and your videos give me such motivation. I didn't read the other comments to see if anyone suggested this, but I actually donated my wedding dress. I donated to a program that turns wedding dresses into sadly gowns for babies that have passed. It breaks my heart to think of someone to go through such a loss, but I was happy knowing my gown helped make beautiful memories for these parents. Just something to think about.

I just wanted to drop a comment that you may want to keep some of your wedding photos of you and your ex because even though you don't want them, your children someday might want them. Also; with the wedding dress, I don’t know if there is anything in your area but you can donate to wedding specific charity-esqe places so someone can get a beautiful dress that’s affordable for them! That’s what I would do, I think that would be a really nice way to do something positive with the dress 😊😊

There are a few things you can do with your wedding dress. There are organizations that will make small dresses out of yours for babies that pass away to be buried in. My daughter that passed away 14 years ago yesterday, was one such recipient. Also, you could take it to a consignment shop to sell it, sell it on Facebook marketplace or just donate it. I personally have donated one to Goodwill (after my divorce) and I've sold one on Facebook marketplace (my other daughter didn't want it since it wasn't bright white, LOL).

I worked as an ETL for Target store side right out of college for about 5 years. Like you I learned so much working there, but it was the most exhausting and unnecessarily stressful job I've ever been in. It pushed me far ahead in my career, and I'm glad it was my starter job. With that being said, you couldn't pay me enough to return to that mess. Can't believe people make a long career there.
