Nice tutorial and thank you on sharing your knowledge. I was wondering why you have changed the default on setup in the "System Unit Scale" 50 for 1 unit?
@HollywoodIllusionVFX2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment :) The reason why I changed the default unit setup was to make the city have a real-world scale. In my scene, the city measures 32 km long. It is very important for PhoenixFD to work with objects that have a real-world scale. Otherwise you would have a simulation that is not realistic !

@@HollywoodIllusionVFX Thanks for your response. Maybe stupid question, but why didn't you scale the city it self to its correct size ? just trying to understand the way of thinking in setting up this kind a scene.

Another amazing Tut - Thanks mate!!! Can you tell us how your workflow is to render the seperatet passes?
@HollywoodIllusionVFX2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot ! I'm glad you liked the tutorial ! To render the passes from 3ds Max, you have to go to the Render setup window > Render elements tab and then click on "Add" to select the render elements you want. For example, I used the VRaySelfIllumination pass to render the fire separately :)
