I never really crave lobster. Every time we go out for this, it's usually because someone else is craving it. .... But now.. I'm craving it :) Great job guys! That looked amazing.

Haha my dad is always craving lobster ... we rarely go though.

I went to fishman lobster clubhouse in toronto once with 24 people and we had two gigantic lobster mountains plus like 10 other dishes. It ended up costing like $1600 CAD but was totally worth it and when you divide it out, the price was quite reasonable for what you got.

Thats where we got this idea from. We’ve never ordered the 50lb beast but we did do some that were under 10. That’s not a bad price at all!! We have no idea what this cost but it did feed 4 of us.

Definitely not worth the trouble. My family and I would save our appetite for Cantonese cooked lobster for our trips up to the GTA. Cooked lobster at the GTA Chinese restaurants, even at the higher end Fishermen Clubhouse, is less expensive than the cost of live lobster down here the Boston and NYC Area.

Lobster parts are flying all over the place! What fun! "Release the pee..." :)
@KindofCooking4 жыл бұрын
Don’t worry. We washed all the parts and hosed down the area. That’s why we did it outside!
@shengnienyang10764 жыл бұрын
Awesome! I want to eat that with some ice cold beer!!!!

Hahaha we filmed this during a heat wave as you could tell ... it was BOILING outside.
@baihuyan64024 жыл бұрын
so would you do it all that again?
@KindofCooking4 жыл бұрын
LOL! Maybe not in the blistering heat, but I may do it again with different styles. Although, I must say, the fried fish, crispy garlic and shallots, and breadcrumbs were really really good. I think it's easier and more worthwhile at the restaurant hahaha.

6lb of lobster just for the 2 of you??? I need to go change my shirt, it’s soaked by me drooling! It looks so amazing, I can almost smell it through my screen. My only criticism is... you need to get a bigger wok! The lobster would have benefitted a bit from being tossed together with all those spices and aromas on heat to get a slightly deeper infusion of the flavours.. that’s where the bigger wok would have been handy.
@KindofCooking4 жыл бұрын
Seriously need a larger wok. It definitely would have been much better had we had the chance to stir fry it together. We tried ... it was not happening. I'm waiting for my wok burner to be finished. The parts were shipped late last week so we'll see when I receive them.

Haha it was 4 of us, but we definitely could have done with a few more people.
