I have used the king size sheets from Sams for about 10 years. I love them. I only use one set at a time. I take them off, launder, and put them back on the bed. No folding or in my case wadding up fitted sheets. I am on my third set, but one did not have anything wrong with them. I just changed colors. Occasionally they put them on sale closer to the holidays.

You can get outdoor furniture covers for each piece of your furniture because yes, your weather will be hard on that furniture! My daughter keeps hers covered all the time unless they are using it! Especially the pillows - if they continually get wet, they can mildew! Wow about the no milk and cereal! My kids would have revolted! But they liked milk and it was good for them! I didn’t drink it but I still bought it for them!

I’ve been using native deodorant for 2 years now and I love it. I’ve tried others but this feels the best and goes on easy. It does take a few weeks to get used to if switching from an antiperspirant. Always pack an extra one with you when working out or throughout the day just in case. Oh and a little goes a long way. Enjoy 😊

I kept hearing about these products aluminum free for years and didn't bother trying. Out of curiosity I looked at Secret's ingredients (which I've been using for 15 years) and I see first one Talc. I'm in disbelief that I didn't check sooner. I don't know much about what should not be in it, but I even know talc is bad. So yeah, straight in the garbage and looking for alternatives.

Yes, you need to tarp the patio furniture, it will disintegrate, lesson learned the hard way. As for the crack in your windshield, call your auto insurance provider. Some policies have crack coverage that you may not be aware of. I read all 100 pages of my policies and did find that in the small print. They came to my job and fixed it for me for free. If you have a Tuesday Morning store near you you can get really nice name brand sheets for really cheap. I do believe all of their stores are going out of business. Lastly, enjoy your trip. Safe travels.

Please talk Dave into talking with Dr. about knee pain and to not blow it off as ”exercised too much”. Early treatment makes a huge difference (think Mickelson). If you want a hearty bar for the kids then you should skip the granola and go for protein bars(or maybe a combination of the two). They are more filling and if you're doing a lot of physical activity and not eating a lot of proper kind of meals it's good they get some protein in as a priority. The only issue that you might run into are the artificial sweeteners in some bars may cause some digestive upsets.

I'm Australian and we don't have those sorts of cookies (we also call them biscuits). We have lots of differnet ones though. You may have heard of Tim Tams - and they come in loads of flavours. We do have oreos and choc chip and many others.

No we don't have Little Debbie's products in Australia, occasionally you can get the odd thing here or there at USA FOODS the small importer store for expats here in Victoria

I use Native deodorant and LOVE it! There was about a 2 week detox period when I switched and Native was the first thing I found that finally worked. I do reapply it before I go to the gym in the afternoons though. Be prepared to sweat. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If I’m working out I’m sweating anyway. The aluminum is the antiperspirant in the other brands.

AGREE! You are supposed to sweat out toxins. I love their sensitive formula, baking soda works but gives me a rash. This is the first non baking soda formula that does anything for me. I do have to reapply (maybe 2-3x day) but it is so worth being chemical free.

PS/ my outdoor furniture, bought in the USA, is thirty years old. It’s iron, and was made in the rust belt in factories that could no longer compete on the international market for steel. I think it’s wrought and expanded iron, will outlast me. I can’t store it inside in winter, so I go at it with a rust converter every spring, then give it a coat of something like Turtle Wax. It wasn’t expensive, but by the time I leave it to someone in my will, it will have cost about ten dollars a year, I guess.

Guessing 306 before tax, 332 ish after tax... 1000 thread count or higher is suppose to be the softest but usually go a cross between price & softness when I choose because 80 for sheets is above my comfort zone. Enjoy your trip

Long time lurker, first time commentor! I know I am late to the party but when switching to natural deodorant there is a transition period. I now love Native! If you press the stick to your underarm for like 5-10 secs, the heat of your body will warm it up and then apply smoothly. HOWEVER it is only deodorant, not an antiperspirant, so there is definitely an adjustment period. You will still sweat (though less over time as your body adjusts) and I have to apply once in morning and once at night - unless I work out during the day and then I wash and repply after that). A thing to note, many natural deodorants including Native contain baking soda and many people have sensitivity to that, causing irritation and rashes to underarms. I am one of those folks so I purchased their SENSITIVE formula which is made without baking soda. I have tried other "sensitive" formulas and this one is by far the best of them (and I have tried just about every brand on the market). I made the switch about a year ago, after my friend's mom battled breast cancer.

The higher the thread count on sheets the better quality. 650 is middle of the road.

Definitely get the Members Mark sheets. I have had mine for years. They are awesome. I have a toddler that likes to use our bed as a play area and two dogs that frequently find their way into our bed at night. Stains come out super easy and we have yet to get any rips.

I have stopped buying high thread count sheets. The threads are finer and they rip way too soon for what they cost. We have gone back to percale that is 200-250 ish. The threads are bigger and hold up. I also buy sheets made in portugal. I get them either at LLBean or Vermont Country store (where you can also buy just the bottom sheet). The percale is not as soft as the high thread count but they do soften up some and I have grown to love them for their durability!

Convenience food is great for trips and keeping kids and hangry adults happy. I always have cookie bars, fruit snacks, applesauce pouches and water bottles in my car and it’s just me and my husband! Looking forward to watching your rather ambitious trip. Have fun! 🥰

That outdoor furniture was a good deal! And it doesn't look like real wicker so it should last without a tarp over it. Just be sure to store the cushions in the shed or garage. I just purchased a patio set from World Market in June.

I believe the name is London something...London fog maybe?? But they are at Sam's and frequently go on sale and are seriously the best sheets ever...I wasnt a fan of the MM ones. And when the London ones go on sale they are like 50 or less for king size! They also fit really nicely and you dont have to pull a muscle when you put that last corner on! So if you can hold out...definitely go for those!!

We used to have a bread outlet here and used to go there when my kids were small but as we live in the west end and it was in the east end. googled it last year and they are closed it was a weston bread outlet. I just look for bread on sale or marked down. Never seen those little debbie star crunch ones but I have seen the oatmeal ones here in canada we don't get all the variety as you do in the states

I did a Christine today and am I proud ! I have been days waiting for my local Walmarts to get the blinds in the sizes I need in stock. I started off in that direction today , however, I just couldn't bear the thought of going again ( 4 X's in a week different Walmarts buying & returning & checking ) and decided I had not been to our local Surplus/Salvage store in perhaps a year. So, off I went. AND, found Black Beans already seasoned 15 ounce cans for $.50 EACH ! Colgate 1.9 ounce toothpaste $.30 EACH ! Tomato Sauce 8 ounce cans ( I live alone so great size for me ) $.20 ! ! ! I stocked up !

Hiawatha trail!! I did it about a month ago now, and let me tell you. It's beautiful. I found out I'm claustrophobic though going through the first tunnel. It's over a mile long and you *cannot* see anything that your bike light doesn't shine on. Add in it being wet and cold, it was awful. Other than that though, Hiawatha Trail is a trip I'd definitely recommend.

To stop the deodorant from hurting press it against your armpit for 30 seconds before swiping to soften it! If you’re switching to an aluminum free deodorant you may be smelly for a little bit because it takes a few weeks for the bacteria colony that lives under your arms to adjust! You’ll get really smelly at one point, but as the colony changes and you come down from that smelly peak you’ll smell less even without the deodorant :-)

Even though it seems expensive, it is still cheaper than eating out. It is great that you can control the healthy items. Also, those pretzel crisps are fantastic with hummus.
