I'm stuck in California for over 30 years. I was in Houston last summer. I grew up and it was real nice to visit memory lane. The school I went to has tripled in size. Is unrecognizable. KZbin shows many Californians leaving to Texas. It's a trend. Good reason to move!

@@leemartin1417 Well, Houston burbs are becoming massive masterplan communities with a gazillion shops and restaurants with insane traffic. I miss my college days when I lived first in EDO and then in West U. Currently, I live in Cypress but seriously considering moving back inside the loop. I am looking at the Heights or Washington Avenue. I said it before and say it again, the fun and exciting Houston is still inside the loop.

Is there a risk of flooding in the northwest area of Houston?? If so, I'd be wary of purchasing, even with flood insurance. Are HOA's part of the subdivision??

Being from the Midwest Michigan, it's crazy. To see the type of houses, you can get and the size in Texas. But one thing I did notice is all the water marks on all the houses... man don't know if I can deal with the flooding

Most houses are overpriced!!! The housing affordability is all time low!!! However, look like the trend is reversed now! House price is starting to go down in recent months... Still no buyers, nobody wants to pay for an overpriced house, an average American workers can not afford a house 😢 In the meantime, Zillow offers 1% down, Fannie Maie 5% down for multi-family home trying to attract buyers 😂🤣🤡. This is your life hard earned money!!!!! Don't let them fool you😢.
