2 things happened that could boost Nvidia stock. Inclusion in the Dow Jones and over taking Apple as the most valuable company in the world. These 2 things mean fund managers need to rework their funds to benefit Nvidia.

To me it is a voice of confidence for Nvidia to be included in the DOW 30. I think there will be funds buying Nvidia just because they track the DOW 30. All good news for Nvidia. Up and away. Looking forward to Nov 20th earnings.

It's like being drafted onto one of the most exclusive sports teams in the world. It shows that this kid has a lot of talent and future potential.

Can you do a video dedicated to the idea you mentioned that when you buy a stock/business, you do not (necessarily) plan to sell it at a higher value? Sorry for my ignorance, but I always thought that was the main (almost sole) reason to invest, as unless the company pays a dividend, it is not clear to me what the real/material value would be.

What does it mean for Intel? Well, Apple just announced their new M4 chips for MacBook pro, and it seems their superiority in laptop industry will continue at least for next 2 years and for Intel it seems they gonna get acquired. IF the regulators were not breathing down to Nvidia's neck, I would say Nvidia is the most probable candidate. Qualcomm on the other hand will get a 2nd chance

No. Nvidia is moving towards its own ecosystem as is, but if needed they can turn to HPE or Dell, for example for most of what smci offers

There could be a slight dip for people as usual over reacting which only brings an opportunity for us to buy at a lower price but it'll quickly stabilize to back where it should be.

I owned SMCI when it split. but wells fargo never updated the increase. I was very concerned. I called them. they said it would get updated within a month. I said. how can I trust my bank if they do not tell me the value my stock so I know what to do with it. They said whatever I do buy it sell it will get updated . buy it never was. So I sold it. but I never got credit for it when it was split.

I usually capitalize on big surge over 15%, with some part of my stack, expecting dipping little bit, to take some profit and buy it back at better price - OR - to buy some beaten down company that deserves attention and is a buy. To be honest sometimes it´s better to do nothing with a stock as for example NVDA or others shown us multiple times...

So far for me, all the wall street hype about companies stock going up upon joining any of the 4 big indexes has been bullshit. Simply by joining an index does not affect the price. For example, just look at SMCI and Alarum (joined the Russell, it went up then crashed).
