Love the videos! You inspired my straw bale sweets years ago and I now do 10 every year. Always pull a full wheelbarrow of potatoes out...roughly 300 lbs!

Beautiful harvest! I love sweet potatoes. We grew bushels of them at home when I was a child, but I've never seen a six-pounder! You've inspired me to try the straw bales next year! Thanks for the video.

Oh YUM - such goodness in all sizes and shapes. In Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving in two weeks (while yours is November I believe). A yummy side dish is "candied sweet potatoes" - often made with maple syrup.

Good Afternoon Jim - Wow that is the biggest sweet potato I have ever seen! Congratulations on another great harvest of sweet potatoes. I can't wait to grow some in bales once I'm able to move to a larger property. The recipes are endless but sweet potato biscuits and lasagna would be on the top of my list. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend...

Aaaah 🤩 sweet potatoes are so cool, I love 'em 🤓 the vines, leaves, flowers, tubers ✨ this year (my 3rd?.. or 4th year) was a succes for me too, I actually managed to grow the supposed avarage, meaning 1,5 kg / plant 😅 😁

@@MidwestGardener thank you. I just realized as watching the video that I had my bale resting on the wrong side so it isn't as deep as yours.
