In this video I remove a MASSIVE yellow jacket ground nest from a client's property! This species is the Eastern Yellow Jacket (Vespula maculifrons), and this nest had around 2.500 individuals inside!
There are many silly ways to kill a yellow jackets nest, but this is a professional wasp nest removal/extraction, and the ONLY professional yellow jacket nest extraction content on KZbin.
Once the nest is removed, and Im finished appointments for the day, I bring the nests home, and fed them to my Emus, Chickens, and Rhea!

Those close up shots show how angry they are when you knock on their door! I’d hate to be someone mowing the lawn or stepping on the grass nearby and get attacked. After watching your videos I taught my niece and nephew to watch out for wasp nests in the grass- if they see wasps flying and landing in the grass there could be a nest there and to stay far away from it and tell an adult.

@@HornetKingOfficial I know it’s impossible to tell from my username, but I’m actually an aunt 🤣 They love to watch your videos, it’s a great learning experience for them without the risk of getting stung plus they like the birds and squirrel. Heck I got the whole family watching including my dad. He had a Bald Faced Hornet nest about 40 ft up in his tree that the exterminator told him it’s too high to get to but “don’t hit the tree with your ride on mower or they will come down on you like hellfire” 🤣 The season came and went, the nest died off and fell down sometime over the winter and nobody got stung. Keep up the good work 😄

@@arianamauery9281 that is really ignorant of them to leave the nests there, they could be sued if someone got seriously hurt or killed by those wasps. I don’t blame you for not going back until they are gone.

Ha! I’m a biology major and I studied for a year under a professor who specialized in bees, wasps and hornets. He was often asked by younger students how he felt about others referring to his subject to study as “pests”. He would just laughed and say “any animal can become a pest if it inconveniences a person, or worse, puts people in danger.” I love that you not only get rid of dangerous nests in an entertaining way but also educate your audience, it shows you have a lot of respect for these remarkable insects! That’s an easy sub from me, much love from Canada ❤

Something I've noticed in all your videos: your birds look amazingly healthy. Their gloss and just general overall condition is outstanding. I've never seen healthier looking chickens, emus and rheas. Must be the mostly all natural diet they get fed! It shows. Also: they are adorable, as is your talking to them. Digging all the nest videos too, and the information, good stuff.

SO satisfying, hehe! I had an in-ground one years ago too, becoming dangerous for my dog, cats, & pedestrians (front yard, right by the sidewalk). I used one of those foaming agents, an hour or two before sundown: cured the problem in one application. But I like the vacuum too, and feeding the eggs to your birds, lol!

It's so incredible to see every time, that the wasps have such a dense population. The relatively small space, or seemingly small from the outside, yet when you keep hammering on the ground they keep swelling up in wave after wave after wave. I know that this nest is huge, but, it doesn't seem to be able to hold those massive swarming numbers. So dense.

I was hit by a swarm of these at work a few months back. Chased me prolly 100 feet, my coworkers told me they seen the yellow jacket swarm chasing me and behind them was a swarm of some type of wasp! they were literally working together. I didn't believe one of em at first but others said the same exact thing. 55 stings in total. The yellow jackets caused way more pain and burning than the normal black wasps did but the black wasps caused a ton of swelling and the pain persisted longer than the yellow jacket stings. For context, i was using a trimmer on some tall grass near an abandoned house. Worst pain i've ever experienced, would not recommend.
