I randomly called Capt. Kurt to set up a fishing trip and as luck would have it Vic, Brooke and Ryan, were at the dock with him spraying off these massive tunas… It was super cool to talk to you guys on the phone!

I clicked on the provided link to review the "Full rules and entry methods" but all I encountered was an offer to puchase a magazine subscription. I was unable to ferret out any document or link(s) that provided the full rules or entry methods. I understand that purchasing a subscription is likely required but being "me" I wish to see what the full rules or alternate entry methods might be. It helps me to calculate my odds of success. Please advise. Great video in any case. Sucks to be broken off, sharked or rocked so many times. Kudos to you and your integrity for still showing them in a video.

Yea. Some fish are mean is an understatement. Hooked a 55 pound yellowfin on a spinning real and it took around 35 minutes to bring in. (Drag might not have been tight enough but that's a story for another day😂)

This definitely the best yellowfin tuna you folks got, so fat because the pinkish hue on it compared to more reddish tuna you ever caught before. Awesome, LUCKY!

trick to wash filets, especially if it's too much to filet them carefully and super clean: just use salt brine. I even do it with venison if I get some hair or whatever on the pieces and if anything it makes things better

time for fresh braid I think(I was foored by how some good 300lb braid lost about 70% of it's strength and started breaking fighting stand up(was a snag leader/top shot on a big spinner). personally have the best experience with cortland hollow core(except the 80lb, still great line but virtuallly identical strength as 60lb with less capacity) and tightline. contrary to popular believe hollo actually is significantly less impacted by twist, it's just more visible and while solid looses most of it's abraision resistance with some twist in it(unavoidable with spinners) hollo keeps most of it, so if tail wrapped it'll easily last 3x as long as an almost identical braid made the same way except as a solid. another advantage of hollow is you can easily replace a section, since only the line that actually get's used looses strength(unless the spool overheats), I'd replace the first half or so 2-5 times before replacing the whole spool.
