Hi Elizabeth! My husband and I went to a Brazilian Steakhouse not too long ago and he told me I couldn’t be his AYCE partner anymore. Literally, a waste of money. @ Yes! It’s definitely been an adjustment for both him and I. This past weekend, we went for a walk at a greenway and afterwards to our favorite deli. It was very enjoyable. We’ve had to make modifications. AYCE is definitely out for me.

🧥 I recently heard that when we have sugar, 24 hours later we will crave it again. The recommendation was that when that rebound craving comes to have a healthier sweet option (apple, grapes, etc.) or even some protein. I haven’t tested the theory, but I’m keeping that tip in my back pocket for sure. This is definitely a season full of challenges! 🍩🍪🍭🍬🍫 😘

👚I couldn't find a jacket or blazer emoji to come up LOL. I am giving myself grace this season also and loved that you shared you are too. I went to my mom's yesterday and someone delivered a huge tray of Christmas cookies. My fav's were included!!! I distracted myself to doing a ton of things I needed to while there and never had one. I am going to have a number of Christmas cookies but spacing that out. I loved you mentioned the need for rest. I thought it was just me! Thank you!!!!!!! I'm gonna do that too and be more intentional about my water.

Well, today up on the mountain it was just a bit rainy and foggy. BUT, yesterday it was very icy so I decided to walk on my brand new walking pad. Fresh out of the box and it didn’t budge. 🤬 I got so mad I threw on my coat and sneakers and drove down to the Greenway and did a brisk walk - slush and all. Normally I’d have eaten something… That was a sort of NSV for me 😊.

I def over ate Saturday. (Jelly belly’s got me 🤬) i didn’t have a ton, but I don’t eat candy anymore. I haven’t done that since June. I’m back on track today, 50oz of water still needs consumed, and I walked my 2 hrs today. My shot day was yesterday, I couldn’t wait to take it. I’m back on track, high protein I’m concentrating on. 🧥 the closet I could find to a suit jacket. Have a wonderful day!

🧥 🎀 I just finished my first week on mounjaro 2.5mg. The nausea has been bruuuuutal, which is so hard because I have a 4 year old with special needs, and the nausea is bad. Please tell me it gets better! Today I realized that my appetite suppression is best when I hit my protein goals. My goal for just starting is 83g. It took a couple of days to hit that. Now I'm even hitting 90g a couple of days.

I agree. Just walking is not intense and should not increase appetite. Walking my dog is more NEAT than exercise, but for people who don’t normally exercise, any little movement can feel intense.

🧥 I walked a shorter distance wth each dog, but ended with more total mileage as I walked them separately as they need to work on their leash manners. (Suit ) My accountability is to find out this week about seeing a dietician and if it is affordable if it is not covered by my insurance. I am about 99% sure they are not covered by my insurance. Also, my head is really messed up and I have many questions and then i overthink so many things and I am just stucked and frustrated. I am being so careful reading labels. Have appt on line with my Doctor in a few minutes. She is big on no fake food additives. Forget Chemical manufactured foods. Basically most diet snacks. I am off sugar. This gets hard and Christmas is coming. I upped my protein and for the first time my bloodwork was over on protein. Yikes!! Thus the call from the Doc. My nutritionist will probably get new orders. Life is good. 🧥🧥🧥
