Street fighter More friendly to casual players than tekken. I don't know where your source tekken is "flopping" maybe only tekken 6 and tekken tag tournament 2 but tekken 7 is huge success that's why it lasts 8 years.

The magic range is +4 to -4. Eg if your opponent is trying to frame trap you with a +4 or less move, you can step it (used to work on grabs to, not the case in T8) Works the same for you too. If you're -4 you can step fast follow ups, make them whiff, and then do a whiff punish "Everything" you need to know

Most Tracking move still beat spin. That hwaorang tracking kick is still a bane in my side, electric yeet it, damn near all of bryans attacks work against it and heat smashes/heat engagers in general delete it so its not as strong as ppl think it is.

TIL just *tapping* nets a sidestep. I've always been double-tapping to sidestep or walk 'cause it just made sense coming from a 2D fighter. Tap inputs definitely something I still need to get used to.

I just learned this but note that you can hold back after you sidestep so after the sidestep evasiveness end you’ll block. So if you mess up your sidestep you can still block
