In this video game guide, I show you the system that Olympic champions use to improve their skills, but it has been modified to help you get better at any video game much faster. This is an advanced guide, but I promise that if you stick to the system - you will get better at any first person shooter or any video game fast. If you are trying to be a streamer or an esport athlete, you are going to want to watch this video. It covers everything from learning game sense to improving your aim or even hitting max rank. This system goes beyond your basic tips and tricks on how to improve at video games and teaches you how to improve as a player rapidly. This system can be applied to any game, such as Fortnite, Valorant, PUBG, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Warzone, Apex Legends, Rocket League, League of Legends, Fifa, Minecraft, Rainbow six siege, Roblox, world of tanks, you name the game and I promise this video will help you improve!

Got tons of value. Very underrated channel. Hopefully, I can get myself to commit to an improvement routine like yours. In Fortnite Zero builds your videos have already helped me to improve without even doing any drills, just like you mentioned at the end of this video. Just by watching and listening to your train of thought I keep finding golden nuggets I never thought about. Thanks a bunch, and I hope your channel grows and brings you tons of money and happiness.

You are too kind Uldis :) Thank you so much. Remember you don't have to go "all in" on this learning system, but the more dedicated you are about it, the better the end results will be. If you want to accelerate your learning as fast as possible, you truly have to become a "student of the game". On the flip side, just having ANY system at all when it comes to learning / developing your gaming skills is going build your skills way faster than normal. What I'm saying is you can go 50% on the effort of this video and still 2X your skill development rate. Best of luck on your journey my friend :) I hope that soon enough your son and his friends are trying to decide who needs to sit out of the squad so that you can join and carry them haha :)

@@TobyWanShinobi thanks for your encouragement. You are awesome! BTW, I wanted to ask if you have tried to commit to Battle Royale build modes, and how did it go? I personally feel like the skill gap is just way too huge between true students of the game/sweats and casual players who play for fun like me. My son doesn't like playing Zero Build modes but I feel like there are fewer moving parts to learn. In Zero Builds I can at least understand my mistakes and what I'm lacking. In build mode, I'm so lost that I can't even pinpoint 3 things to improve... seems more like a thousand... and I've been casually playing for more than a year :)

I don't play builds for a couple reasons 1) I have no interest in it. Watching it kind of bores me. 2) The time required to become a competitive builder is immense with not a lot of payoff. Once you learn it, it doesn't translate to any other game.

@@TobyWanShinobi very valid points. While I can't fully agree with point 1 (I'm in awe when I see what people that are decent at builds pull off in terms of complexity) but point 2 is totally spot on!

@Uldis Biz yeah it's just a personal preference thing, for some reason I just don't like the whole box / edit style of gameplay. It just feels cheesy to me for some reason.. probably cuz I have always played arena shooters. But I am impressed by how crazy quick and complex people get with building. Just wanted to clarify there that while it doesn't entertain me, it definitely impresses me.

Great video, thank you! I watch my own replays a lot, and have recently also begun recording a lot of my gameplay thru Nvidia as an extra step to catch things the FN replays miss (like visual audio and team comms). Your tip on watching the replays at half speed is great because most people just feel like 'I screwed up' instead of 'what could I have done differently?'. Analyzing your gameplay after the fact makes it a learning opportunity, you can see what you did well and things you missed and make yourself aware to watch in the future. I will sometimes even switch to the opponents POV to see exactly what really happened and why/how they beat me. After a game I will also reprimand myself for things like 'Why didn't I use my shockwaves, bunkers, heals, etc.', especially in duos with my husband (because our gameplay styles are very different and it throws me off). I've been watching pros stream and studied them since Fortnite began and am not the greatest player, but I have been trying to teach him (he was a soldier IRL, and has never played PC games before) things like when to push people, how to use cover better and to NEVER STAND STILL (lol).

Can you make a video with basic tips? I'm a 46 years old man and the last time i played a game was in 2001. I'm trying play Cyberpunk 2077, because was (the genre) a big thing when i was young. i have problems with movement, i look at the keyboard all the time, and if i shoot something, i can't do anything else, like doge or move side to side. I know that is very basic, but if you have some kind of exercise to improve this skills will be more easy to try to learn properly, greetings from Brasil

Really great video. I’m starting my new routine tomorrow 🎉. Interesting seeing halo. I remember playing on my husband’s Xbox roughly 20 years ago. Hang ‘em high and the map everyone hated but we did well because we had it mapped out…Chiron. We literally drew out the whole map… unfortunately I still suck at gaming but that will change, right 😊? Cheers to another parent helplessly trying to keep up with kids. My son and his friends are on a completely different level even though I've played Fortnite roughly the same time as my son. He's 14 and got a decent grasp of building mechanics within a month. I've spent more than a year and I still feel like a total bottom dweller that gets bulldozed every time a decent player comes along. I need to get some routine in place too. Time to stop sucking so bad, haha.

This video made me realise that the cause of my slow learning and constant in-game nerves is my atrocious mentality. I'm not sure how far I'll get with this advice in mind, but since I'm very tired of losing, I'll most certainly try it. I also find it insane that such a high-effort video is sitting at 3.1k views.
