just got back into chess after 30 years off since my 6 yo daughter showed interest after learning the basics at school. wasn't to teach her caro on black and London on white. thanks for the content

I always like how you keep going and going and going. After taking 2 pawns you dont reinforce or sit back, your first thought is to strike somewhere else. Something I have to learn to to more often.

Found your channel since a couple of weeks. Really appreciate the content you are posting! Similar to the opening I play myself so I learn a lot about it!

A year later and back to watch one more time . I have recently also started making content on the opening. The one thing that is slightly frustrating when watching the videos ( even though I like them so much ) is that you find moves, even I, a 1400, wouldn’t find maybe one day we can link up and make contact together, and I can explain to you what it’s like to think like a lower rate player Lol

Thanks for your videos. London system and Caro-Kann seems so easy with your lessons. But what if : 1.e4 ç6, 2.d4 d5, 3. exd cxd, 4.f4. !!? Nf6, 5. Fd3 Nç6, 6. Nf3… My engine propose a plan with 6…g6, 7 0-0 Bg7, 8 ç3 and Bf5… Very strange plan, and f4 is really annoying and very often played. Do you have some recommandation ? Thanks !

At 36:12 why not go Qa8+ forcing either the rook to block and then Qxa7 for a free pawn or Ke2 losing castling rights and blocking his bishop and still able to pick up the pawn with Bxa7?
