Danya has replacedAgad in my daily chess watching. I used to wait for Agad to drop a new video, but watching Daniel play these games and crush literally everyone with no effort is so satisfying. I still love agad, but now I find myself occasionally searching for his videos rather than waiting for them to come as I had before. Agad and danya are the best chess content creators on KZbin. Shoutout to Chess with Suren for the smaller creators that still have great videos.

Would like to see you play the fantasy vs someone who follows theory for a bit longer.
@seanhunter1112 жыл бұрын
As a Caro player, it's great to see how you play the fantasy, because this is a line I don't enjoy facing. I'd also like to see you defend against it (and the Panov attack maybe) with the black pieces. I know people in your chat were clamouring for a hilbilly, but really I just don't find the hilbilly attack hard to defend against at all. White ends up wasting a bunch of tempi with their light-square bishop and getting nowhere.
@trallegas65892 жыл бұрын
The hillbilly thing is just a meme since one of the regulars in the twitch chat really likes the opening,i don't actually think they were asking how to defend against it seriously but good luck with learning to deal with the fantasy and the panov
@jimmyturtwig75192 жыл бұрын
Ive found fianchettoeing the bishop on g7 is a pretty good way of defusing the Panov, it just belongs on that diagonal putting pressure on White's inevitable IQP. As for the fantasy what I usually end up playing is Qb6, but it's one of those sharp lines that's too rare to really remember a lot of theory for.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand the a3 move when trying to trap the queen?
@yawn89742 жыл бұрын
the point of a3 is to take away the b4 square from the black queen. and ultimately the point of it is to "defend" the d4 pawn with tactics. imagine if black had played Bxf3 Qxf3 Qxd4 Be3 and white hadn't played a3 before this sequence; then black could play Qb4 and they're up a pawn (and a key pawn at that). but the move a3 sets up the trap. check out the position during the game after Be3, and you'll see that the queen has no escape squares (thanks to a3)
