@@gamerdio2503 You don't actually have to be a titled player to calculate all positions. Mates are actually one of the easiest (from a defensive point of view) because you know how the line ends so threoretically you're not looking for what works, but what doesn't. So you just start with 1. in this position how many squares are availale to my king 2. how are the opponent's pieces positioned compared to mine i.e if their pieces are locked on to the king side and yours are off collecting pawns then 3. Start looking for viable sacs that are advantageous starting with the most common Greek gift to queen sacs (Although if you see a queen sac against you, 99% there's an unstoppable mate in at most 4 moves, either that or you are playing a BM.

What stuns me is that Danya (and other strong gms too of course) can just tell by merely feels that there would be a defense What I do is "I see many pieces attacking please exist checkmate-chan"
@lred13833 жыл бұрын
Surface level visual evaluation is actually quite easy, the problem is executing everything beyond that correctly. I'm only 1300, and while i can see pretty much the same interesting sacrifices that work, i will often goof up on the followup, missing my opportunity. One game was straightup painful: i was slightly worse, but then found a brilliant rook sac that would eventually result in a forced mate in a few. But then i played one move slightly wrong, and that allowed my opponent to stabilize. I couldn't stop thinking about that game for like a week

Lessons learned : 1)combination of g6 and e 6 is not good. it creates weak squares 2)Threat is stronger than execution 3)Removing fianchetto bishop weakens the squares further 4) Its advantageous to do your plans with a tempo 5)Desperado sacrifices if yours as well as opponents piece is hanging to damage opponents structure

Knight to F3 in the first game was a huge blunder. To understand why, we first need to look at what black played a move before: Pawn to D5. Now this move is unassuming on its own, but it's brilliance is revealed once you notice white's pawn on E5. By definition, all chess players MUST En Passant once given the opportunity to, which Danya does not do. Therefore, they played an illegal move and as such they will be sent to jail as soon as the opponent realizes this fact.

At 29:39 after he plays Nc3 can you play Nxd6+? If he takes, then Qxd6 and Kxd8 so a rook and a pawn for two pieces, and if he plays after Nxd6+, Kxd8, then Nxf7+, Ke7 and Qf3, keeping a rook and 2 pawns for two pieces?
