Exceptional skill level in SolidWorks, and I have been playing with SW for 4 years now. I can't imagine being in a geometry class with this person. Everyone but him must have failed after he/she busted up the grading curve. Even though I could follow the steps and I understood the steps, I could not wrap my head around the insight this person has with figuring out the geometric relationships of sphere. I know it is all angles in 3D space and their relationships to each other, but for me one might be explaining advanced astrophysics for all I understood. Just barely understood the broad stroke alone the details of this drawing. I guess I will just stick to drawing gears and mating them so they rotate together. Oh well at least I am not a member of the Dunning-Kruge club.

Any way to pattern a surface appearance after the model is completed? If i roll back and add appearance to Fillet it does not apply to all (patterned) instances of that fillet.
@EasyCADSolutions6 жыл бұрын
Yes because here i use move copy bodies so solidworks treated as a body not as a set of features and fillet is a feature, thats why it is not replicating the same on over all model And if u want to color the fillets just color the faces of the fillets manually at starting then use circular pattern command insted of move copy bodies
@STAiNLESS_CORE6 жыл бұрын
Yer, I ended up going back and replacing the Body-Copy/Move features with CirPattern features. Now I can edit the surface appearances over and over.
