Wherever I've lived, my mother says it's awful. Today she said Valencia is where the unfriendliest Spanish live. She just stabs my joy.

Thanks for sharing this it really helped me to put into comprehension past arguments that really helped me understand why I reacted the way I did and steps to respond allowing my personal example being a way to encourage and enjoy hearing others way of thinking and the whole process of why this cycle happens to ultimately expand awareness and consciousness. Through our differences we ultimately grow healthy diverse relationships!

Could you maybe do a video going over “derailing disagreements for couples”? Or something helpful in the midst of a unhealthy disagreement? Somethings to do to help get the disagreement back into the healthy zone? This video was super informative- and helped me to understand why I get so angry and flighty during disagreement with my partner.

This has some utility however it presupposes a level of civility and respect on the other half of the dialogue that in fact may not be present (I work with criminals and gang members at times). Somedays it's simply wise to not have the conversation in the first place and/or simply agree with someone to get out of the conversation regardless of if you truly do or not. Some fights are won by never engaging, some dances are made for one person to fall over their own feet.

There may not be an answer to this, but how do you recommend handling situations that arise in which an agreement must be met, but some of the parties involved view the idea of hearing the ideas of others as an attack on their own, or they just won't budge? (examples: co-executors of an estate, a couple making a big decision about a move, etc.)

How I can tell a narcissistic person that his intake of my critique/feedback of his action is not meant to attack or hurt him? How can I explain that his reaction to my expression of feelings is not adequate and normal people are actually concerned how their actions impact partner, and not hurt by hearing this? Is this the violation of narcissistic person boundaries too?

The person with NPD may not be able to hear this because they are so fearful of rejection or their sense of self is so unstable.

I do agree however if the other person shares none of the same values as you it will be hard to find conflict resolution. If one person believes that it's okay to lie that it's okay to call ignorant names and put people down as a means of Correction and others don't or should I say I don't then how can there be a resolution in that

I don’t feel safe when someone raises their voice trying to ‘convince’ me esp when they don’t have an argument to present- they just repeat their disagreement- I guess that’s conditioning
