Thank you for this tutorial. I plan on doing this stitch. Have you thought about a tutorial on a graphgan?

Hey there 🤭 So I just finished watching.. and I think I actually understand majority of it for first time ever 😝 Except when decreasing at the end of rows you mentioned not going into those last space or it’ll start to look funky wrong 🤪 To not accidentally go into those ends… so for a beginner like me who is very new to the c2c .. is there something I can do to help me remember not to go into that last space that not supposed to in the end of rows in decreasing? (At least until I get the hang of it) Like placing a stitch marker somewhere? If so .. where should I place exactly so I don’t mess up and help remind myself? Does any of this nonsense I’m trying to explain make any sense? Lol 😂 🥴 If you could try to explain or give me ideas to help me know where to stop that row that would be great. 🤪 Also.. I would love to also know how to change colors if wanted or also if needed to add another new ball of yarn when one ball of yarn is finished 😜 Hopefully all this makes sense 😁 💜🥰💜

Hey KrissD! 😊 Thank you so much for watching and for your thoughtful comment! I'm so glad that most of it made sense for you. I know decreasing in C2C can be a little tricky, especially at the end of rows where it’s easy to accidentally go into that last space. Using a stitch marker is a great idea! I’d recommend placing a stitch marker in the last square or space where you're supposed to stop the decrease. As you approach that section, it’ll be a visual reminder not to go too far into the row and accidentally create extra squares. You could place the marker in the first square of the row where you're decreasing, so you know to stop there. Over time, it’ll become second nature! As for changing colors or adding a new ball of yarn, here's a simple method: when you get to the end of the current yarn, leave about 6 inches of the tail, then tie your new yarn to that tail with a secure knot. Afterward, you can crochet over the tails to weave them in or use a yarn needle to tuck them in neatly later. If you're changing colors, you’ll want to do this at the end of a row or just before you start a new square for a seamless transition. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. 😊 Happy crocheting!

@@Yarnasasecondlanguage Yes all this makes sense. I think I can do all this. 🤪 So when changing colors at the end of row.. do we just change like we would normally do to change colors in other crochet projects to add a new color? 😜 Everything sounds great and think I understand.. I’m a visual learner so if sometime if you could make a video to go with this video that shows everything to do with changing colors and yarns that would be so great and helpful 😁 Thank you again for all your help. Have a wonderful evening and week. 💜🥰💜
