Sir, I recently installed a new Speed Bleeder screw on the front brake specific to my 2000 Harley Springer. Now, I can't get the fluid from the master cylinder to flow out so that I can bleed the front brake. Could this be caused by crud in the brake line? The front brake was working fine prior to installing the new bleeder, so what could have caused it? I re-installed the old bleeder screw, but no fluid came out. I also removed the old fluid from the master cylinder with a turkey baster. I rebuilt the master cylinder six months ago, that I can rule it out. I have tried to bleed with a Mity Vac and no fluid flowed out. I also tried pumping the brake lever, and that did not work. So to be brief about the issue is that the brake fluid is not flowing from the master cylinder to the caliper. I anticipate you will say that it is caused by air, but if the fluid is not flowing, I can't even address the air issue, right?

I would remove the brake line off of both sides and flush it out with Brakeleen then compressed air. If the brake line is clear it would have to be the master cylinder.

Is this for a single or dual disc? Trying to find a kit for 11/16 dual disc can't find anything.

Hi, thanks for your video. Currently working on a 1995 heritage softail classic and the master cilinder is almost the same. I had no fluid going to the caliper, so i took it all apart. You mentioned the left side little hole could be closed up, i think this happens to me. How do you fix this? Where does it end/what the function? Im kind of stuck in this problem

That hole releases pressure when you let off the brakes. If it's plugged the caliper will not release and the brakes stay on. It goes from the fluid reservoir to the caliper bore. If you don't fluid going to the caliper you either have air in the system or you need to rebuild the master cylinder. If the master cylinder will not build pressure the seal is bad and needs to be replaced. You can see the seal at the 2:18 minute mark in the video and the O-ring at the 2:26 mark. You just need to buy the rebuild kit. The rebuild of master cylinder in the video is the exact same procedure as the one you have. Fill the master cylinder then pump the lever a few times. Hold the lever in and crack the bleeder. Close the bleeder and start over. I'll try to make a video showing it. Thank you for watching!

@@Rapsgarage Great Video I have the same on my 1995 RK it was the same on the wife's XL . You can open the bleeders and let them drain over night into a bucket or use a Vacuum pump and bleed them . I change out the old fluid DOT 5 and go with new . I drain the fluid after I rebuild the Master or a caliper , blow out the lines good. if you have a hose that is coming apart you will see black bits of rubber in the fluid .
