I got 18oz big slubs in weird guy. I have a heavy weight leather jacket on my list of pick ups. My motorcycle jacket will need replaced this year and so far Schott or master supply is on top of my list!

I got the Big Skye version with the indigo leather. I love this jacket.. Unsure how I feel about the faux-weathering stain/pigment on the Goldrush though. Have you seen their new rough out work coats? It's my next purchase.

Glad to see more organic reviews for this brand. Is the flannel lining also used in the sleeves? I’m concerned about the jacket being difficult to put on/take off with a long sleeve shirt.

Great question, can’t believe I forgot to mention that! The sleeves are some kind of polyester lining so the arms slide in and out with ease 👍. Thanks for the question!

Great question! The sleeves are lined with a smooth fabric so your arms slide in and out easily 👍

For me I see it more as a finishing process on the leather since it’s just oil hand applied to the hide versus a distressing process where the fabric is degraded like pre-fading jeans. I kind of see it akin to waxing a rough out. It definitely gives it a worn in look but the integrity of the leather is unfazed. Just my thoughts on it though 👍
