@@SeanGallagherPhotographer One thing that I feel compelled to say is that, according to my naive perspective on things, having a human in the frame can have a profound impact - quite different from an errant budgie. The latter are always welcome, but I think very carefully about including a human. I understand it as a 'device' but, (again, for me) even if it makes for a 'better photo', there are consequences for the image and its message (or range of plausible readings). Makes for an interesting problem to mull over. Cheers from NZ.

Whether a bird or a human, the connection between the viewer and image changes. Often this addition adds deeper meaning. But the meaning is in the interpretation of the viewer.

Another excellent and useful video, Sean. Thanks very much. All the example photos were impactful, actually. I think my favourite would be the river in Cambodia in late afternoon / sunset light.

Several pictures, see bird pictures, seem to have been created with AI

I'm not sure how/why you came to this conclusion? My photos are real. No AI.

So, please excuse my opinion. I noticed an unusual sharpness of the animals, especially when depicting the eagles or hawks. I myself once tried to spice up a rather boring image of a desert panorama with a flying bird. The result was similar, very disappointing for me.
