The JM Press really is a game changer for tricep strength. I've noticed a big difference in my lockout power during bench presses since I started incorporating it into my routine.

Great breakdown of the JM Press technique. It's such an underrated exercise for building overall upper body strength.

I've been trying to improve my tricep game, and this video gives me a solid plan to follow. Thanks for the tips.

The 1st time ever a tutorial has gone right into exactly what I asked for...you didn't give me a 1/2 an hour of history on why I need to do it or who invented this exercise movement. Thank you so much.

This popped up on feed and I hovered over it expecting a 12 minute anatomy lesson. More tutorials under 2min! Good shit.

Perfect example of an actual JM press versus putting your on spin on the movement like I see so many other people doing.
@monstars9872 жыл бұрын
You have to put your own little spin on things because not one person is the same as the next.

Very good tutorial, short and to the point. I like to do these with chains added, it adds weight throughout the movement but not at the disadvantageous and strained position at the bottom.

Easily the best video breaking this movement down

the only cue that made me understand this exercise is "collaps the elbows down*

This is more of a skull crusher than a jm press Dont be afraid to roll back the arms! This is a power move not a sculpting move

I'm a big fan of JM and wanted to love these but they really hurt my elbows, it was very upsetting
@Lift4Christ832 жыл бұрын
They bothered my elbows at first too, but I wear my Slingshot elbow sleeves now, and they don't bother me at all
@williamhendrix32532 жыл бұрын
just do them more like a press and you’ll be fine
@Chezkenny2 жыл бұрын
The JM press is actually harder on the elbows then French press...
@Jimmy_Cream Жыл бұрын
Not if you're warmed up and not jumping straight in to them as a 1st exercise
@Mr-mopar Жыл бұрын
Jim said he created this movement to help his bad elbows..top arm wrestlers say they use the jm press for same reason..
@carnivorous_vegan2 жыл бұрын
So the JM press is essentially performing the Skullcrusher incorrectly
