Really beautiful work, Tomasz! Nicely done! 😃 You could also add one of those "o" screws at the top to hang them. Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Great video. Thanks for sharing. Probably too late for me to try out this year (my to do list is very long and I am slow), but next year there will be Christmas again. Did you stain the inner sides of the star on purpose, or did it just get there by the way? I think 'd prefer the inner sides without a stain, the glue will be holding better in that case, I think.

I stained all over. It's a deep penetrating stain. Howeverdoesnt seem to affect the glue effectiveness. Done it many times now of different projects and never had an issue with the glue joint failing.

@@CasualDIY Thanks for the explanation. I'll try it with the stains I have. I was surprised that no clamping was needed while glueing the pieces together. Maybe the CA glue does the trick there. A couple of years ago I made hexagon coasters/tea light holders, where each was build up from three equal trapezium shaped pieces of wood. Sometimes it didn't hold well without clamping. I clamped it with rubber bands, which was quite a fiddly job. I started making a special clamping jig, but I haven't finished that until now 😞
