It's great to see you paint again here. I always learn so much watching your process. This tutorial helped me with how to get lovely skin tones without harsh edges where I don't want them. I also enjoyed seeing the wide variety of colors you could achieve with so few colors. You often pick ones I would not think to use together and it always looks wonderful. Thanks for all you do and I look forward to the next one!

I really loved this tutorial because it was in mostly real time, which I find more helpful than the ones that just skip ahead so fast you can't tell what they did. Thank you, your explanations were really good, and I like the free style of the background, and the simple color mixing, sticking to just a few colors to mix. A+.

I really liked the looseness of this portrait, thank you for letting me see how you approached it.

This was very timely for me as I'm struggling with a portrait I'm doing of my brother who passed in 2006. The measuring of the photo reference was helpful along with the limiting of the palette. Thank you for posting.

Great tutorial, thank you so much. Not only did I enjoyed from the learning perspective but also just to relax, and give my mind a break. Just what I needed ❤

Also something weird happened. I had to watch the video in my other KZbin account because this one doesn't have your voice nor English audio 😅. I have not been able to fix it. But since I get to go to two accounts you got double the likes at least. I just couldn't watch and hear the robotic spanish or Italian options of audio they were giving me. Of course I understand Spanish but automatic translations have a lot of mistakes. So, if someone complaints in Spanish is because they did not get a correct translation. Sorry about KZbin messing with us. But wish you the best ❤

Oh no, that does sound frustrating! I really appreciate you going the extra mile to watch the video-and for double the likes, thank you! ❤ Thanks for letting me know about the auto translations, it seems creators don't have control over it and so I wasn't even aware this can happen and hope it doesn't affect other people's watching experience too much. And I’m so glad you enjoyed the video despite the hiccups!

At the edge of the painting on the left side there is a happy accident of a half of a butterfly shape. And I just subscribed.
