+Hero i will start this year or maybe next the 4 elements kind of kung fu and do it in the order that aang did so first air Ba Gua Zhang then water Tai Chi then earth (since toph has her own style i will do both style) Hung Gar and Southern Praying Mantis then fire Northern Shaolin i'll probably take 20 year or more for all of them, but i dont actually do it for the avatar lol but for the discipline

She's so flowing and makes it look effortless, but it looks so incredibly precise. As with lots of people, I found out about Baguazhang through Avatar, and I just find the movements mesmerising. As a slightly weird thought as a person with long hair, I kept imagining hair getting in her mouth (I've just never been very graceful)

You have to have a deep understanding of basics and technique to see how her movements are actually highly useful. This is a form, an exercise, to develop your mind and body, with martial arts movements "flowing" from 1 combination to another. From there you have to imagine how these movements are applied with an opponent or opponents----which is only achieved with partner training.

The best part is that Air is invisible, meaning that you don't have to see the element for this to look like Airbending!

To be fair, if the sky bisons were the original airbenders, that would mean that Appa was also an airbender, which menas that there were at least two airbenders left until Korra.

The Bagua is beautiful and I see the flow, but I don't understand it nearly enough to see the martial aspect. Zhang keeps her hair down as it definitely adds to the beauty of the spirals and spins.

it's powerful style if you know how to use it properly you can knock few enemies in one round. the dragon is powerful uses body and flexible techniques to attack and confuse the enemy. I'd say deadly but very few artists know how to use it
