@Swanky Jay Toons Pit still have the dark pit alt and dark pit have the pit alt, Mario and Luigi have Waluigi alt and he is in the game in assist trophy, I don't see why could be a problem to put Fierce Deity in Young Link Final Smash while it is a costume, the alts are like you can play with "Fierce Deity" and "Waluigi" while they are actually in the game but not playable. Sakurai said that the alts and the mii costumes are for that, with that you can imagine you are playing with those characters, you at least have something.

Fierce Deity Link is the most badass version of Link to ever exist. Maybe that's why he was only at the ending of just one game. He's too badass for the rest of the games to handle his presence.

It's theorized that the Fierce Deity's Mask isn't merely allowing Link to turn into the Great Deity itself, but the form is made of all the memories of Termina's people. Fitting when you consider how many people you need to collect masks from to get it.

I can do the same, too, but that takes a lot of practice. Such a shame this is the ONLY game to have Link in that form. Nintendo seriously needs to bring that back, along with the Hero of Time, which is THE Link.
