@@SirRootes I enjoy the work. No stress for me because I'm not a programmer. Setup guy. CNC machines are not like computers. Where you get viruses and people fucking with you. If the CNC code is good the part will be good. A good programmer makes 30+ an hour in chicago

How much difference is the master cam version you are teaching with compared to the 2022 master cam home version I am currently learning the 2022 version I am experiencing problems by not being able to open the software can you help thank you for your kindness

if your wireless mouse only zooms further away on the scroll button roller wheel--thats because its a microsoft mouse. you have to download mouse free download mouse and keyboard from microsoft. Install it. Once installed now click "programs in which the mouse does not scroll right" navigate to mastercam and click it to add to the list. The scroll wheel now will zoom in and out correctly

This was super helpful. I got a new job and they are still using X5, I don't know how to use this archaic technology. Newer versions are so much friendlier.

I have a wireless mouse with a center button that is a roller--no matter which way I roll the roller it keeps zooming further and further away. Is there a mouse setting someplace?

i have a big question no body seems to know. There seems to be no way to set the window such as when deleting to pick all THAT IT TOUCHES--a hugely important setting. As it is now it only will pick entities to delete or group THAT ARE TOTALLY INCLUDED in the box. Hopefully they did not do away with it. All systems ive used from old mastercam-surfcam--cimatron--all have the ability to set the window in config for anything that it touches. To have to include everything for it to see it is a huge pain because it often means the entire part has to be grabbed.
