MasterChef Canada S04 E11 Full Episode: Trevor, Barrie and Thea were tasked with making a mélange of pastries in two hours to be served to the judges and 45 guests, including 11 pastry chefs. Barrie was given the opportunity to choose one of three luxury proteins and which proteins to give Trevor and Thea. They had to showcase their proteins in three different ways. Targeting to eliminate Thea, Barrie chose wagyu beef for himself, gave Thea the Nagano pork and Trevor the Chanticler chicken. The judges praised Trevor’s dish, apart from his imbalanced sauce, and he advanced to the finale. It came down to Thea’s flat presentation and Barrie’s undercooked meat. Barrie was eliminated despite his initial advantage, sending Thea to the finale.

What I like about this season is that Trevor had his eyes fully on the prize since day one. Almost every round his dishes were atleast top 3 and always had redeeming elements.

Barry got robbed. Victim of setting the expectations of himself so high that one error in judgement (I wouldn't even call it a mistake) got him kicked out. Thea just expressing confidence for once got her elevated, which itself is a travesty. She had set such low expectations it was easy for her to meet the bar.

"Real" Wagyu is. The name literally means "Japanese Beef". When its produced elsewhere its usually a Japanese cow crossbred with angus cows or something similar to achieve comparable marbling score. You cant get "real" A5 Wagyu anywhere but Japan, and its incredibly expensive. A5 stands for the marbing score and the standards are extremely high.

Ok, don't cry about it. I'm so sorry that reality doesn't match your fantasy. You're a dummy if you think Thea didn't have any skill to be in the finale. Barrie also had his flaws. He was overconfident and imo a bit arrogant at times. It showed today. He let his pride inflate his head and that's why he was eliminated. It's not because he was a bad cook. It's because arrogance causes you to trip more often than not. And Thea didn't 'cry her way'. What crying did you see these last few episodes? So you're honestly off your rocker. Barrie even admitted that he thought Thea was a good cook so can you shut up and stop whinging about Thea or you're at risk of becoming the very thing you perceive Thea to be.
