they showed the expected outcome for each food type the techniques are not too brain challenging, especially if you just signed up for a cooking competition all contestants had the same time to complete as much of the challenge as they could they said 'you've got 15 minutes', they did not say 'you've got 15 minutes and if you don't complete it you're going home'

They can. All chefs can. What they did are the first basics learned in Culinary school. “Mise en place” will be the phrases you’ll hear on the first day of school, along with “sense of urgency” and “clean as you go”. I would know cause I’m one of them as well. :)

As a chef Mise En Place is more than just preparing the food for cooking, its making your whole station ready with everything you need from pots pans, to food :) But a fun challenge :)

I think this is too cruel to them •cut a *WHOLE* chicken •cut three types of bell peppers to Julian (i dont know if i spelled that right) •separate 24 eggs •shuck 6 corns • deveins & clean shrimps •peel and take out the core from an apple IN 15 MINUTE *panic attack* and i dont know why the chefs make them panicked even more
