This feels so out of character for both Barry and Trevor. As a matter of fact it feels staged, as with most reality shows or competitions that are aired on television. Master chef and many other shows have a history of this. I still love both Barry and Trevor as well as their dynamic throughout the season, they both have the potential to do great things in the food industry.

Oof. I would never choose to go with Wagyu. The problem with it is that the meat is so good that you basically can't do much with it aside from just salt, pepper, a bit of garlic and onion powder maybe and just let the meat do its work on its own. If you try to be too fancy with Wagyu you're going to end up ruining it and covering up what makes wagyu special.
