I really like this format where you compared and showed how the same type of furniture evolved over a century. Very informative. Please do the same with sideboards, desks and chairs.

Thank you for your comments. This is also a reflection of the increasing difficulties of supplying figured walnut at a time when the increasing importation of mahogany reflected in the price led to changes. Demographic changes also played a part in the evolution of styles. David
