A few comments. First off, when Jin said his parents weren’t around to take care of him he only meant that he was living with the members and not his parents. He was the baby in his family and then suddenly became the oldest of 7 Rise of Bangtan original channel had over 100k subscribers when it was pulled. The captions say this is an army edit, and yes Aneesa is army but the concept and execution and editing is all the work of one person, Aneesa. It was a project she actually started back in 2017 and aired the first episode on KZbin in January 2021. Each episode just gets better and better. There are also deleted scenes for episode 1 and 2 and then also bonus content starting episode 3 I’m super happy you were referred to this series because it is truly professional quality and Aneesa is a heck of a good story teller. I’m looking forward to the next part of your BTS journey 💜😃🇨🇦

Ok perfect thank you for diving in deeper. I was like "awww poor Jin" but now I'm like. "Awwww it's ok, it works out in the end" lolol ANEESA! OK! BUT YES Lots of help and work went into this for sure! The credits at the end really solidify that!. But damn... this is like, Netflix worthy. But my question is. Do we know why the series was pulled?

@@MasterGo89 no. We don’t know why She posted that due to work and her own stress with the project that she wasn’t going to be able to finish it but as to why she pulled it? No real reason that I recall. It was my go-to comfort show and a huge shock to see it gone

@@aellerica6380 I believe she took it off because she didn't like how some episodes turned out and because she heard Bighit/HYBE was going to release their own documentary about BTS so she didn't see the need for hers.

@@crystalsnow1138 I found it. “But also, as Bangtan’s career continues to thrive, the more incomplete the series feels to me. I never expected it to reach so many people and, had I known it would grown so much, I might have added more explanation and clarity within the narrative. For these reasons I’ve decided that TRoB will no longer be available on this channel “

Yea! I've lost count of how many times I've watched this series with reactors. It never gets old. Especially for those of us who didn't get to know BTS or ARMY from debut, it solidifies our connection to everyone & helps to establish a timeline for the music & events. I'm still so thankful that these 7 talented, intelligent, kind, generous men chose to share (& still share) so much of themselves. And at the same time I'm always cognizant & respectful of the fact that they did/do so at great sacrifice. Thank you Bangtan & ARMY for your willingness to share the history. 💜

Keep in mind that part of the narrative of this series is to show how the industry typically is and how BTS was atypical and did things differently. For example, it was generally rare to see idols unless on a music show or variety show, always scripted. It was rare to see real live footage of idols. Because they couldn’t get on shows, they filmed themselves backstage and did KZbin and documented their real lives. So we the fandom fell in love with their real selves

This is also the starting point for RM to translate any negative and hurtful English comments to something positive for the sake of the members. BTS from the get-go was so different from the idol industry. As the documentary said, kpop idols are packaged and seen as these gods and goddesses; perfect, skinny, beautiful, and handsome. There were no vlogs like these before that showed idols in their raw state. No make-up, sweaty, sharing their struggles even before debut. BTS was relatable and seemed approachable. They worked hard and they loved each other as brothers. And they haven't changed. Then and now, they stayed true to who they are and wrote songs from within. That is what sets them apart. That's what made ARMY love them. Yes, they are rockstars on stage. Off stage, they are our sweet talented funny boys. Genuine and authentic. I am so glad you started with this documentary. It'll help to understand them more🥰💜

In a recent Forbes economic analysis BTS bring $4.9Billion US to the country each year.... As well as that - The economic onflow (hotels, food,, etc) from every BTS concert held in South Korea is worth $1 billion US.... eg. Stores in Seoul reported a 1200% rise in sales during BTS 10th Festa this year. ... While BTS do have rules they need to follow, this series really does highlight the difference between the other companies and BigHit at the time. While they did have freedom it is important to note that they used that "freedom" to hone their craft and became even more determined to make it to the top and be the best in every aspect of song, rap and performance. Mad respect to PDBang, the boys and their production team (many of whom are still with the boys today.)

@@MasterGo89 We were desperate then. Because of your grandfather's sacrifice, I and my children live. We, all Koreans, will never forget your help at that time. We and our descendants will never forget it. BTS also said this when they received the 2022 Van Fleet Award. RM said, "I will always remember the history of suffering shared by the two countries and the sacrifices of so many people." You should be proud of your grandfather. He is a hero to us.

Let me share with you a little part of my history. My Grandfather was a hard man to love. He was very angry and VERY outspoken. Asking him about the war was also very cryptic and he didnt talk much about it... I remember a time when he seen a photo of him with his crew mates on the ship he served on... it was the first time I seen him visibly upset. I didnt know alot about his time there. But I knew it was meaningful. Im so very proud of him doing what needed to be done. He is a part of history that liberated a counrty to be what it is today, and now my journey into learning more about Korea and BTS may lead me into the path of knowing more about my Grandfathers past and unlocking more history that I can pass down to my children. 9:49 Gangnam is an upscale district in Seoul. I'm glad you're watching this, it's a great series. Idk if anyone mentioned it yet, but it's important to note that when they talk about the companies & idols etc, saying what they can't do or whatever, if you notice it'll show BTS doing whatever it was. BTS was different. 😊 I'll try to give examples later in this, if I remember 💜 eta: oh like when the girls talk about dieting and stuff, I think if BTS dieted it was because they felt they had to not because the company made them, and while they were brought up on the training system, there wasn't a mandatory amount of practice etc, BTS practiced because they wanted to, and they obvs write their own music etc

I’m so glad you’re watching this documentary! This is a project made by only one person named Aneesa! She did an incredible job with this documentary and really gives so much insight to BTS’ rise to success, but also to the hardships that they had to face and overcome in their career. (BTS Hardships by xCeleste is a must see). Bang PD didn’t enforce the typical strict rules that were present in the K-pop world. They had relative freedom in almost everything. Even so, the members still felt so much pressure at first, mainly because of the high standards they aspired for. The members themselves set those “strict rules” . Most of them even took it as far as contemplating quitting but in the end, they pushed through. P.S. Whenever you hear them telling their age, remember to take into account the Korean Age system. One is already one year old the day they are born and every January 1, another year is added to their age. But this year, 2023, the standardised “international system” was adopted. I look forward to your next reactions! 💜💜

ALEX WITH ANOTHER BANGER! Thank you! Ohhh man I LOVE the fact that HITMAN BANG did this. He's honestly an amazing person that understood the industry and was like... you know what? I'm gonna flip it on its head. I wonder when artists hear about HYBE now they must ALL want to be part of it to just enjoy that lifestyle as artists... or maybe there are other labels that have adopted the style he introduced?
@alex__andrei
@alex__andrei Жыл бұрын
@@MasterGo89 I agree!! Hitman Bang truly changed the game with his ideas! And yes, HYBE is definitely way better than most K-pop companies out there. Unlike most, they still give artistic freedom and relative support to their artists. Still, no K-pop companies do that, HYBE is somewhat different in that matter. Though that doesn’t mean HYBE is without problems. The major problem with HYBE? They kind of started going downhill over the last couple of years, and especially since the company’s revampment and later Hitman Bang’s resignment as CEO in 2021. Since then, HYBE kinda went POWER MONEY HUNGRY aka GREEDY, and this caused a lot of problems. One recent example of HYBE’s greediness is how they implemented dynamic pricing for concert tickets this May. “Ticket costs aren't publicised beforehand; instead, they fluctuate according to the demand.” So yeah, it’s a great company that for sure stands out amongst most other K-pop companies.

I am excited that you are doing this series. Aneesa put a lot of work into this project. She was a kpop fan before BTS debuted. She felt it was important to put in the history and talk about the big music companies training practices. She noticed BTS because they were different. Just a heads up on the ages. The members are giving you their Korean age. You need to subtract one or two years Most of the members were born September-December, so subtract two years. J-Hope and Suga were born in February and March respectively, so usually you can just subtract one year. Korean age is counted by years you have lived in, not by the sets of 365 days you have lived. V was born December 30 1995. That was the first year that he lived in, so he was one. Two days later, January 1st, 1996, that is the second year he lived in, so he was now two. When the boys debuted, Jin was 20 and JK was 15.

I always love seeing B.A.P. In the beginning of this 🥹💚 My first loves forever and always (plus they brought me into this world to start with 🫡)…this series is so amazing so i’m glad she put it back up. It always makes me say a grateful prayer that JK didn’t choose TS Entertainment too. Literally the worst company🙏🏼🥹💜 Still recorded this series though just in case it goes away again 🤭💜

I think it’s on episode 2 that either the deleted scene gets started then both the following the deleted & bonus scenes follow- hope you can do them as well as they provide addtl back stories and some of the most entertaining parts that didn’t make it to the main. Thank you again!

@@MasterGo89 I really appreciate your effort to answer my comments and above all that you do it in my language. Here I continue to support you with what I can. I'll tell you a little about myself: I'm a 47-year-old Mexican ARMY mom, I'm a chemistry teacher at the university. BTS found me in 2020 just as the pandemic was starting in my country. I don't know what I would have done locked up in my house those two years without being able to see these 7 wonderful and talented human beings, they saved me (although it may sound exaggerated). As they say: things happen for a reason. I'm sure there is a compelling reason why BTS has come to you. Greetings

Ofcores! I use google translate to know what you all have to say in your native languages! oh wow!, a Chemistry Teacher! That must be a very fulfilling career passing down your knowledge of chemical compounds! Its so cool to think that someone as smart as you finds entertainment in my reactions... Little ol me LOL Thats really sweet haha! The Pandemic was a hard time for me... We had our first son in 2020, with all those emotions and time indoors I lost myself but I feel like Im starting to find my inner child again and seeing color again with BTS! I love everyone passion and it brings me so much energy! Thank you for your comments and Im so glad you are doing good! To be here with us

@@MasterGo89 Originally I studied to be a Biotechnologist Engineer, but in truth, teaching chemistry is my passion, but not being able to do it in person, during the pandemic, was very hard for me. I had to adapt to the new virtual class modality, and as you can imagine it is not the same, much less for a laboratory session (it was horrible hahaha). Thank God we are back in person and I enjoy it more. As I had already told you, these beautiful boys came to accompany me in the confinement or I would have gone crazy or already divorced me hahahahahaha. It's good that you are better now with your family too. Keep in touch. Greetings.

the original person who created this docu-series abruptly decided to end it and took down her videos herself. Someone else from the fandom took the liberty to reupload them, as they are a fan favorite. Not sure the original creator is okay with that though... she did spend a lot of time researching and editing them. The reason why the new channel got so many subscribers is because so many army supported reuploading them again.

@cnot4948
@cnot4948 Жыл бұрын
@@MasterGo89 The channel your watching is not the original creator but they did ask permission before creating this channel. Aneesa (the original creator of the series) did give this person permission to re-upload all the videos. Aneesa took down the videos for her own personal reasons but she also respects that (whatever those reasons are) the fandom as a whole loves this series and it really does help new people to BTS and Kpop grow a better understanding of both. (and about Korean society in general.) The creator of the channel you are currently watching this series from had saved all the episodes on a google drive when they originally aired which is why they have all the content - main episode, deleted scenes and bonus content.

i thought you said in earlier videos that you didn´t know about kpop. but now you are saying you are a fan of blackpink too? for me that group os just fake all the way through. they might be nice girls behind all that but the whole way they are designed to the way they promote and their songs, all is just so shallow and meaningless and money hungry to me. this is nothing against the girls since i dont know them but the songs and whole vibe just screams fake to me. it is a media stunt. i did look into them because i wanted to se why people loved them and i still dont know🤔 their lyrics is so shallow. and their fans on twitter is so cruel to BTS and army. they dont have the same helpfull loving community that army has. it´s also fight within the fandom. hating the members and such. i can´t help but se these things on twitter even if I try and block everything. i have blocked so many toxic fans it´s insane. i just want to love BTS in peace.

I don't really know about kpop your right. But I still listen to songs. It's not about the depth of the song sometimes its the beat, sometimes it's the visuals. Being a music fan I've listened to alot and also learning alot also. I've been going down the BTS rabbithole for 3 months now and what I've learned is that the boys support diversity and other artists. They wanna see people grow and be happy. It's the industries that go after those artists and cannibalize the artist to create money makers. In my option I will still enjoy what I enjoy but BTS is what I will deep dive/learn about and grow with
