You are a project manager in the financial and banking industry, leading a project to implement a new banking software system. During the execution phase, you encounter a shortage of financial resources allocated for the project. What should you do next to manage this resource constraint appropriately? A. Assess the impact of the resource constraint on the project's scope and deliverables. B. Communicate the resource constraint to the project stakeholders and seek their input on addressing it. C. Collaborate with the project sponsor and financial department to secure additional funding or reallocate resources. D. Update the project management plan to reflect the revised resource allocation and budget constraints.

Hi Amit, Can you just explain the pre mortem and post mortem concept in Agile.
@edzest
@edzest 4 ай бұрын
Hi Faiz, the idea of pre and post mortem is analogous to medical- pre death and post death. In case of Agile, in pre-mortem, the team discusses what all can lead to failure for a particular product or functionality, thus planning a response to avoid/mitigate potential problems (risks). In post-mortem, the team discusses after the issue has happened to prevent similar issues in future feature or functionality.

Hi Amit, can Spikes also be considered as iteration 0, considering the fact that the only work being done during that period is to solve a problem before the next sprint?
@edzest
@edzest 5 ай бұрын
Hi, iteration 0 is typically the very first iteration where the team prepares itself for the work. While Spike can happen anytime in the project, when it happens later, it won't be called iteration 0

Why is one of the pain points of agile unclear purpose? Do we not already know the purpose of the product we are creating?
@edzest
@edzest Ай бұрын
Hi, I am able to recollect the reference to this question. But uncertainty is one common aspect of projects that leads us to select an agile approach. Purpose is generally clear in the project but as we move along with expansion in scope, the purpose can also change.

The customer accepted a new product, but after two weeks, the project manager received a complaint from the customer saying that the product's functionality was incomplete. What should the project manager do first? 1. Review the validate scope process. 2. Validate the scope with the customer 3.Request an inspection of the product 4. Escalate to the sponsor.

32:00 im confused we can not add anything new w/o PO approval because anything new needs to go to product backlog where the PO will prioritize it, isnt it. it is not a process but otherwise it means i am stepping in PO role which may offend the PO
@edzest
@edzest 7 ай бұрын
What I intended to say in video is that if an option talks about adding a processor approval even by the product owner, you may find a better option. Because adding an approval is an addition of a process... Additional process might not be the best choice.
