You can see if you pay attention to the damage counter, you can see the first dair in the first sequence doing different damage then the first dair in the second sequence (13.2 vs 10.2), while the banana throws deal the same damage (6.2 then 4.6) on both the 68 and 66. He also started the combo on 1% the second time, which is why there's 2% difference rather than the 3% there should be.

@@itsameyoyo i can't do combos, it just feels like I win by sheer utter luck for mot of the time I was trying to use a combo I made up that sent up throw into nair, into back air and fair, then down tilt to grab and down throw to down smash But enemies never fall up straight down, so it rarely works Maybe it would be better a down throw, down tilt, PK fire, then down tilt again and forward throw to then try and spike at the ledge, but idk...

@@nialvessal alright well to start lucas has a lot of complex stuff in his kit but his main things for combos are going to be with all of his aerials and down tilt. typically what you wanna do at the start is camp until you get a good window to get in, so kind of just empy hop some and then throw out a pk fire but don't spam pk fire. when you get in you wanna start a lot of your combos with nair into either nair again, uair, or fair. his throws (unfortunately) don't really combo in this game at all, down throw can have some uses if you know what you're doing with zair but it's really niche because a lot of people will di out. a lot of lucas combos are either really tight or tend to not be super long, but if you know what you're doing you can get really nice strings. his main combos are gonna be like nair nair uair a couple times, nair fair, and double jump cancel zair confirms. you can do landing uair stuff too, but just know a lot of his throws don't kill and are used for killing (aside from down throw). there's guides on how to double jump cancel zair, and i would definitely learn how to wavebounce pk fire if you're not entirely sure how because as a mixup it's REALLY good and hard to punish if you wavebounce it. mainly just get his movement down and definitely look up how to do nair loops with lucas along with following guides from KingOfWizards, he shows off how to do dair loops and double jump cancel zair and really does a good job of teaching lucas stuff. if you need any help i can answer anything, this applies to anyone reading this
