Oh man! This is awesome! I was once attacked by a guy with a knife and I was a "bagger" at Tom Thumb!! I was able to wrap my apron around my arm to defend and hold the guy until police came... This reminded me of this! Great video!

yes. When we say weapons use, it's not always in an offensive capacity.

I can see this being effective with the p kall style knife as a sneaky counter maneuver to surprise the enemy. Learned a lot from this.👌

Thank you for these interesting examples of the use of flexible weapons. The comparison with the stick showed the possibilities very clearly. (A small note: "Poor Tomas").😅 But, joking aside. - Please more of this.👍

I've been told that one tactic an unarmed guy could use against a guy with a sword (not that it's very likely to succeed, given the huge sword advantage) is to retreat and quickly take off his shirt and quickly roll it up into a "rat tail" and then use it to slow down the sword, and then close the distance.

I worked at Rite Aid, and my coworker caught a shoplifter. i defended her, and she got the merch. Away, instead of pinning him down, i shoved him out of the store so hard mite broke his back?
