Your PPF film is the best I've ever installed. Your knife work is perfect. Speaking of knifes, I have a dozen PPF/vinyl knifes. Turns out only one works. No marking on it at all and it looks like it came with replacement blades. The rest of them are total junk, lesson learned. Thanks again for the great video !

That's great feedback on the material! Yeah, I've found that most brands of knives and blades are garbage. I only use OLFA products. Tried and true for a ton of years. I've been using them since 1998.

You are awesome. Do you think you can make an updated video on tools and PPF? Mainly, the difference between 12mil and 8mil?

Let me see what I can do. The tools are all the same. We don't carry the 12mil film. It's much too thick for normal installs. It's extremely difficult to make contour to bumpers and hoods. I used to use it on headlights a long time ago.

That means there is too much tension on the film in one direction. We're you able to get them to stay down? Normally pushing the fingers down and then drying out the edge should help fix that. Heat sealing can also help. You might need a film with a more aggressive adhisive. What film are you using?
