Please, explain what is 对联.

对联 is the Chinese couplet that people use for spring festival. It is a pair of lines of poetry that are usually rhymed and ppl put them on their doors to decorate the door and they represent ppl’s new year wishes.

@@changfunlearning These couplets don't sound like a verse for western listeners. But I know there are some rules there. And Chinese people know these rules and can say which pairs of lines can be considered 对联 and which can not. I believe it could be an interesting topic for video.

At the risk of being politically incorrect. You know very well, that you are very pretty, This translates to views and attention span for both men and women. Reasoably strong colours on the lips, makes mouth, lip and teeth action more clear. There is a trend in the "liberated west" and even on TV, for women to use un-natuarrly bland lip colours, this is not helpfull for those who need to see lips, we all benifit from seeing spoken lips. I am sure you are conscious of making your mouth action clear. It is plain to see that the mouth is used differently in Mandarin and English. English having a more open, mouth action with round vowels and Mandarin, being spoken much of the time thru the teeth with the lips partly closed.

Yeah, I want the students to be able to see how I pronounce, that would benefit them more then just listening.

@@changfunlearning it is surprising how much we hear with our eyes. Some Chinese have a habit of covering their mouth when they speak. Something I find most unhelpful and annoying. Particularly unhelpfull when their speach is not clear or it is noisy . We english speaker often quietly mouth words, I think perhaps this does not work so well, with chinese teeth speaking and tones
