Yeah, but with how the show is recorded then uploaded to KZbin, it may have a mirror effect. I seen it a lot on videos uploaded to KZbin. When they said "Left side", it may have been really left side, but to us, it seem like it hit right side. It may be just a mirror effect caused by recording and uploading to KZbin. Some cameras do that for some reason. If this isn't the case, then forget everything I just said. lol

Or just have convicts with confirmed death sentences, dressed in all white clothing, tied to a tree or pole... then you could see the red blood splat real easy every hit. It would save the state and tax payers millions every year on medical, food and housing all of them living in prison and the processes of hanging, electric chair or injections. Plus being Televised, would put a big damper on major crimes like multiple offenses of murder, rape, child rape and porn, human trafficking, drug cartels and other major crimes around the country, maybe even the world. Ya know, bring back the firing squad, but make it a televised competition. The victims and their families deserve a good public show of JUSTICE ! And the criminals need to see what they will get if they keep it up.

Frankly, I believe match grade 750 grain 50 BMG is the best for long range. That heavy ass bullet will fight the wind like a mofo and it keeps its velocity longer than pretty much anything. You'll hear arguments about things like 338 Lapua, 375 or 408 CheyTac and 416 Barrett, but the physics are on 50 BMG's side.

Whether that's an accurate description of the guy is moot, that's how he comes across. Better to just shut up and let the shooter/spotter dialogue carry the day.

Would the bullet be less deadly at 2 miles ? I know that sounds dumb but they rate bullets by effective range so would the bullet be effective on a deer at 2 Miles?
@sarahconner9433
@sarahconner9433 3 жыл бұрын
Those bullets will completely turn a deer into hamburger even at 1 mile..I saw a 338 Lapua go thru a 8 inch concrete wall at almost a mile!!! Typically the 5 to 10000 foot pounds drops to 3000 foot pounds at 1 mile...3000 foot pounds is more than point blank 12 guage shotgun slug..

What preparation do you need to make a shot like that? Do you have to calculate the Coriolis force to know where you have to aim? Recently saw the movie „Shooter” where tehy talked about calculating it. Thanks for your answers

Iv a stupid question thats bugging me lol i seen that they have slays on there bipod is that personal choice yet i notice Bob tubb had fixed bipod personally i wouldn't want that bipod moving a single bit when your on target your on only time i would adjust is when changing target maybe different shooting styles. Still spotted a few pulling the trigger putting it down to nerves tho

All Good Questions.
@theaceofspades485
@theaceofspades485 3 жыл бұрын
*No,and yes..let me explain.* Simply putting a supressor on a firearm does not have any significant effect on 'accuracy' (kind of) ill get bacl to this. The supressor portion does not physically make contact with the bullet at any point. It only traps the rapidly escaping gasses which are traveling behind it. This is often confused because generally if you are supressing a firearm your goal is to make it as quiet as possible. So people use sub sonic (below the sound barrier) ammunition. It is simply ammo that is loaded with less powder or heavier bullets (or both) so they move slower and don't cause a loud distinctive crack that happens during supersonic speed. Lower velocity means subsonic ammunition cant travel as far and does not have as much lethal force at long distances. You can use any regular ammo in a supressed firearm it will just simply be louder and you become more dicoverable. These guys aren't using supressors because it does not have any advantage in this competition. Supressors are not as 'quiet' as people tend to believe, even more so when using large rifle calibers. Lastly using supressors causes a lot of powder residue to go back into the firearm and they become dirtier A LOT faster this can cause a effect on accuracy. These guys are hand loading their own ammunition. They have spent hours formulating bullets to very specific measurements and often load them with more powder than off the shelf ammunition to get as much velocity and distance they can achieve once bullets leave the barrel they slow and fall below the sound barrier then become very difficult to predict where they will go at long range.
