Any interest in reviewing Taiko no Tatsujin Rythym Festival friend? Its more or less the same game BUT it has a special fitness mode that tracks calories with some light gamification. You use the joycons to simulate hitting a huge drum in front of you, and imo the note charts are designed much better for motion controls specifically. Ive been using it about a week now, recording my total calories for the day to see if theres any improvement. It likley wont help with weight, but Im doing it for the cardio and endurance. Id LOVE to hear your take on this specific mode friend! :3

I just played the fitness mode today and looked for videos on it to see if that mode was multiplayer. I saw that they released drumsticks that you could put weights in. I’d imagine it can help with toning arms and endurance.

thanks for including this review! i love Taiko No Tatsujin! i use it on normal or high w/ 5-6 star difficulty when i want a quick cardio session and i'm tired of my other fitness games. one thing to consider is using the special drum accessory? i don't have one but it's supposed to make the rolling and precision on the swings easier.

Too easy! Its good fun, hey! Yeah, the drum accessory would be very different, but I'm not spending $100+ shipping unless I can guarantee a return on the investment at the moment haha!

Thank you for the review! I got the game for Christmas with the drum, but wasn’t sure how to use it for exercise. Will give it a try with the join cons. Also, thank you for your ring fit videos! I’ve been using the custom works outs throughout January! 😊

Kind of reminds me of the musical part of the contests in Pokémon BDSP.

Not sure if the Kirby was a troll. The Lost Lands came after, but the Kirby Star Allies came out in 2018.

Nah, it was an honest question, I dont know what Kirby's first appearance on Switch was

Maybe there are some cheap but durable attachments for the joycons that can allow us to hit a balance ball or an exercise ball for a pseudo drumming feel.

You can get 3rd party drums from Amazon.

@@MasterTrainerPeter I just got it on sale for 9.99US. I really don't even need drumstick attachments. It's a decent workout "punching" a balance ball with each note hit.

Can you tell me if you can do The sorry with The drums?

I've been looking everywhere for an answer with no luck- just maybe you might know. I want to play the couch co-op option, but with the motion controls. However, I can't seem to select the option in multiplayer mode. Any ideas.

Mine doesn’t show the option for motion controls 😢 does it happen to anyone else?

I understand that you couldn't afford the Drum set. But you should have one anyway. Because that's how high-level Taiko gameplay should be played.
@MasterTrainerPeter2 жыл бұрын
Are the majority of players for Taiko going to have the drum controller? I'd argue not, and so they'd have to do with the joycons, like I have. You can still have a fun active time with it though.

this is not a motion control game 😡
@MasterTrainerPeter2 жыл бұрын
This is a joke, yeah? You make inputs by using motion, therefore its a motion control game
@canalso58062 жыл бұрын
@@MasterTrainerPeter a motion control game is a game that the focus is the motion controls! a motion control game is also a game that only uses motion controls! this game can be played with buttons and the motion controls is just an option, not the focus! therefore this is a game that *has motion controls* not a *motion control* game!
@MasterTrainerPeter2 жыл бұрын
Motion controls are the preferred way to play this game, and it HAS a motion control option. Therefore it is fair game for a motion control review. If you feel the need to gatekeep that sort of distinction, then you do you, but thats not how we operate here.
