These techniques only work on people who dont want to kill you and just trying to scare you. If you see a person comming at you with a knife trying to actually kill you either run away or if you have to fight (to protect family, etc) grab something that has more reach than the knife (chair, bat, you name it.) or something wide that can deflect the knife. When you grab a chair lets say and stand your ground, the person with the knife will most likely demoralize and run away.

I am a Sifu and Grand Master in Wing Tsung, Filipino Eskrima, and Silat, 8th degree! I'm 40 years old and started at the age of 7 in China, the Philippines, and Indonesia. I fought professionally in Thailand's Muay Thai (14-0-0, 11 KOs). I still see these types of knife defenses, and they're laughable! The first thing you should learn is to move away if you notice someone carrying a knife. In a confined space where you can't escape, place one hand up and another down, arms protecting your vital organs, and forearms outward to prevent cuts to veins. If you get cut, never look at your wound. Apply the principle of ignorance. You're not fighting the knife but the person holding it. If it's a professional, you'll notice how they hold it. Use heel kicks to the shin, it'll hurt and make them reconsider. Whether they're professional or not, maintain the guard as explained before. In a confined space like a bathroom, don't back up and get cornered; otherwise, you'll end up bleeding with cuts and stabs. Maintain your guard and move forward. Anticipate the attack, target the throat and eyes, and strong low-angle blocks to the shins. Why? Throat = someone who can't breathe can't attack. Eyes = someone who can't see can't defend effectively. Shins = someone who can't walk can't defend or attack. But remember, avoiding a fight is a victory. If you see a knife, don't be brave, just move away if you can. These videos aren't realistic, I know from my own experience. Thank you.

I am a trained martial artist with 48 years experience. I must tell you that even with intense training against a knife. Even if you have your own knife. If you engage a trained and or bad intentioned assailant you are going to be cut slashed stabbed or killed unless the Living God is with you a determined opponent with a blade will negatively impact your life. Hey,what if a person attack by using machete?
@masterwong1015 жыл бұрын
Raphand 2241 Big problem
@SkyTheLimit1065 жыл бұрын
they wouldn't do that in the city because other people can see it and the person who wields the machete is going to be reported so that's why they use knifes
@tupid5 жыл бұрын
@@SkyTheLimit106 well arent they gonna see him with the knife? Like, when he hold the knife close to someone's neck? I dont think people would be that dumb, if i was the bad guy, i wouldnt attack someone when there's people around

No one can block what they can't or don't see comming. No one. The art of war- defend what your enemy can attack, and attack what your enemy can't defend.

Nuke and cal50 are bad. You can deffend against them by taking a helicopter perhaps and fly away, or a yet that flies faster than the bullets :) The best attack technique is... Going in the space, and throwing ateroids on earth.
