ari preston because they weren't conditioned vocalists. You have to form a base in singing before screaming or growling of any kind. Takes a lot of time and practice that they didn't have when their original vocalist left. So they had to basically improvise. Doing the hardcore type of vocals they were doing and for how long, it permanently damaged their vocal cords.

KoRn is my favorite band. It's weird they're my favorite band & i can't stand other shitty Nu Metal like Coal Chamber. But to me Nu metal is when bands that came out try to sound like KoRn and ended up sucking. That's why KoRn changed there sound for Issues. But let' forget about that and enjoy some MASTODON.
