Brann nailing that vocal during the most complex drum part! Awesome.

Brent is a guitar God! That solo is not of this dimension! Brent's a freaking alien?!

thanks for the recording. love this song, favourite on the new album. was curious if brann would sing it live with how complicated the drums during the chorus sound.

I bet you Brann Dailor sounds awesome live. I would go see Mastodon just for him.

He does indeed sound great live, way better than videos make it seem, just saw them last week and Brann was on point all night. Highly recommend seeing them if you ever have a chance, they kicked ass.

@@puppetmaster8551 I've seen Mastodon. They are amazing live. Brent Hinds actually sounded amazing. Many say that he sounds horrible; well the nigjt I saw them in Dallas, He was impeccable.

their sound is pristinely tight live. they rehearse alot most likely..

They’ve played a show every other night for the past 20 years, that’ll do it 😉
@puppetmaster85512 жыл бұрын
They’re all insanely good at their instruments and have been playing for 20 years straight, they tour a lot too so they’ve done an absurd amount of shows together. Saw them earlier this week tho and they were perfect, nailed every bit of the instrumentation and the vocals We’re solid all night. They just get better live with time, their Playing is just fantastic and all 3 have gotten better on vocals.

I love love love Mastodon, but I'm not sure about what Brann is doing. It sounds to me like he's recording vocals out of his range, that he can barely sing live. He already had issues hitting the notes in High Road and he's belting even higher notes now. I love Brann but he's not doing himself any favors. To me, this performance reeks of strained vocal cords to me and I hope he's not damaging them.

I have to agree unfortunately. His voice sounds really strained here
@nobodyinterestingyou7 жыл бұрын
I actually like how It sounds more organic ,but yeah there's definitly a lot of straining there.He should learn some little technics to project his voice higher without using his throat all the times.It would help a lot.

Diego Leiva Maybe let the guy learn and grow like music is supposed to. If you need some processed finished vocals then check out the radio baby doll. This is real music. Yes, very organic as in growth. Now let the man grow. PS no few can sing and play like that. I'm sure Danny Carey would agree. But he doesn't get much radio play so you may not know who that God is.
@gojira82497 жыл бұрын
He said in an interview that they didn't create the album on what they could play live perfect every time. I think they just did their best.
