Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo jump into the studio to react to an exciting professional boxing bout that hosted a ton of impressive names, inside and outside the ring.
Five years ago, Masvidal bested Diaz in the octagon and a beef was born. After an increasingly tense promotional tour that included a street brawl between Diaz and Masvidal crews, the former UFC stars, known for their striking and ability to endure pain, squared up for 10 rounds in the ring. When the final bell rang, Diaz got the nod after what many viewers felt was a neck and neck fight, with Masvidal landing some hard-hitting blows but Diaz taking them in stride and playing the numbers game to out-strike his way to victory.
The headliner wasn't the only bout that delivered; the undercard had multiple stars at all places in their career. The Co-Main Event matched up Daniel Jacobs and Shane Mosley Jr., where the son of Sugar Shane Mosley pulled off a dominant win over the former Middleweight Champion. Also on the card was former champion Anthony Pettis and rising star Curmel Moton, who is backed by Floyd Mayweather.

Jorge won that fight. I had it 7-3 Jorge. 2nd round was a coin toss could go 6-4. I don’t think you win a fight by being able to take a punch. Real punch’s vs baby punches. Nate’s a dog for sure but Jorge looked amazing. Just fighting a guy that keeps coming no matter what. I don’t think anyone else could have taken them punches like that.

I had it 6-4 for diaz. I thought Jorge had the better quality punches land but I also saw those punches do little to no damage to diaz. Meanwhile, the diaz output of punches, in my opinion was simply insurmountable by the work Jorge put in. Watching Jorge land heavy punches and then watching diaz barely react and keep coming forward was a trip. We seen Jorge put bigger dudes than diaz into another realm stiff. He couldn't even draw blood against diaz this time. On points, with boxing rules and a boxing point system. Diaz won. He simply outworked Jorge. Jorge apparently was more accurate but without an obvious beat down or a ko, the boxing point system dictates diaz won. Without bias.
