By giving him alone time doing his hobbies like camping with friends, visiting his family and watching hia favorite games. I don't want him to think that I want to change the things he love to do before we became together. But of course I trust him that he knows how to divide his time between us and his alone time. The same goes with me. Thanks Matt and hoping to see more of your inspiring videos. Great job!!😊

Matt, all these points are true! I see how being playful, interest , supportive in good times and bad, mysterious unfolding over time, giving space to create desire, all based on being unapologetically myself are such authentic and true. Not everyone will fall for us.. but that’s ok. ❤ if it’s not for you.. in the end move forward, leave it and let them.

A funny t hing happened the other day. I had ask a guy I'm seeing what's his favorite genre of movie. He made sure to point out , not horribly romantic movies as if I was thinking about subjecting him to one. I was silently tickled. He said action. I found out real quick that my guy likes to be touched because he loves to cuddle, so I make sure to always touch him in some way even if it's just my hand on his thigh. Although I was scared to tell him that I loved him cause I wasn't sure if he felt the same, so I tested the waters and said, "You know other than my parents you're my favorite person." He confirmed that I was his, and THEN I said, "I love you".

Beyond all of these tips … Knowing your own Attachment Style as well as your partner’s Attachment Style is so important. And if your partner resists taking the quiz to find out his style, move on right then. The guy I'm with now was actually my first everything and I was his first we were both 17 when we started dating, we dated on and off until 2 years ago and we started dating again. Lately I have been worried that maybe he doesn't love me or that I'm being used and I'm worried cuz I don't want my past trauma to self sabotage this relationship that means so so so much to me. I love him and I have loved him for over 20 years and honestly I'm just ready to get married and have a family. He says that he's always loved me and that he feels the same way I do and I have no reason to not believe him. But he's also a very shy guy and I don't mean shy shy I mean like he doesn't show allot in his actions. He's not touchy,he won't go in for a kiss, he won't really be the one to go in for anything. And I would do anything to help him to open up and do things more.
@Mat_Shaffer3 ай бұрын
I can feel how much you love him, and it’s clear that you really want this relationship to grow. Sometimes, people express love differently, and if he’s shy, he might need a bit of gentle encouragement to step out of his comfort zone. Try open communication-sharing your feelings without pressure-and celebrate the little moments when he does make an effort. That way, he’ll feel more secure about showing his affection in ways that are meaningful to you.

What about avoidant men? I gave my ex all the space..over time he pulled back because of his insecurities. It was disregulating because he pursued me for 2 years. Introduced pet names like hon and love early on. A false pregnancy scared the bajesus out of him and he ran. Then came back but only as a fwb. Today I ended it for good, it feels like he was putting me on layaway until he gets his finances together, but not opening up emotionally about feelings for me. Only way I could move on was to completely end it. I love him so much. But love isn’t enough.

I like the grizzly Adams look ❣️ However no way could I pretend to like tennis for a guy, that's silly. Your shared experiences can be on common ground, I mean seriously is he going to make an effort to go crafting with me? It's so overdone 🤯 be yourself, be nice, unless you're a B 🤷 because in spite of what you say a lot of men simply want what they can't have.

Well maybe shouldn’t have watched this 😢 suppose cause it’s I’m trying to win him back. Was together for 11 years. We was amazing together then my depression caused me to show less affection towards him and he kept asking for affection and I couldn’t just got mad. Then he friends zoned me. We started again fresh in June and was great like dating again and a month later he ended it. He still live with me and the past weeks or so Monday been the last we have made out passionately and same Sunday both nearly lead somewhere but stopped when we was about to have sex and said don’t want to mess with your head. Yet kissing we was doing tongue play and said love when you do that should do it more often. We played video games the next day can’t sand cod but was laughing. Is it lost hope really want to win him back

You’ve been through so much together, and it sounds like he still values those moments with you. 😊 Keep creating those positive, lighthearted memories and showing up authentically. With time and patience, he may remember what made your connection so special. Sending you lots of strength! ❤🌱

It shouldn't be one-sided. Relationships should be about mutual effort, not just one person trying to please the other.

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really loved him so much I can’t stop thinking about him, I’ve tried my very best to get him back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of him, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss him and just can’t stop thinking about him

its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let him go i did all i could to get him back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring him back.
