This recipe of matar mushroom is very easy to prepare with no curd or coconut instead its made using onion-tomato-cashew and is best served with roti, chapati, or paratha also pairs very well with basmati rice, jeera rice, or peas pulao.
INGREDIENTS:
For grinding masala -
Ghee - 2 tsp
Black pepper - 5 seeds
Green cardamom - 1
Cloves - 2
Cinnamon - small piece
Onion - 1 (medium)
Garlic - 1 1/2 tbsp
Ginger - 1 inch
Cashew - 9 - 10
Tomato - 1
Water - 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
For making gravy -
Mushroom - 250 grms
Green peas - 250 grms
Ghee - 3 tsp
Garlic - 1/2 tsp
Onion - 1 (small)
Tomato - 1 (small)
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
Handful of coriander leaves
Salt as needed
